Manga and Anime inquiry

Hey guys, I finished watching Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul Root A (more episodes to come). Then I wanted to check out manga, even though I did not read it, I saw some parts in manga that were not present in anime, so I was wondering should I read manga, or just keep watching anime? I mean do i lose much by not reading manga?

Yes you should definitely read the manga, considering the fact that the Anime follows a different route than the Manga does/did.

The story in the manga is a lot better. Its less than 200 chapters and if you have a lot of time to spend may as well check it out. I read it all in about 5 hours over a span of 4 days.

Read the manga, season 2 is different universe is not part of the manga.
And you should start from the beginning to be honest, the anime skipped alot of stuff. ​

I just watch it but I'll read it eventually (like I say to other manga when I watch the anime version and hear it's different). I suggest you watch the anime and read the manga.

I strongly reccomend the manga, it goes a LOT deeper than the anime and the anime skipped some things
