manda counters amaterasu

Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Gaara, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Ay, Nagato and Minato have direct counters for Amaterasu.

this is just one possibility out of many... the point is manda can escape amatersu

It really wasn't, I think people underestimate snakes in the NV. They're extremely durable, and hard to kill.
