manda counters amaterasu

Logically speaking Manda, either form, should be able to counter amaterasu.

As we've seen Manda shed its skins against an oil/fire release combination, it's likely it can counter amaterasu too. In two instances we seen amaterasu burn exterior surfaces before doing any internal damage.

1) against the samurai. amaterasu didn't burn through his clothing and once the armor was removed, the samuraiwas pperfectly fine.

2) sasuke was hit with amaterasu and used body replacement, which is a similar technique. Sasuke escaped by shedding his "skin shedding"


Therefore, if Manda was hit with amaterasu it can easily counter and escape as it did against Jiriya.

Manda would try to swallow the enemy and open its mouth. The user would aim at the mouth and use amaterasu then he would burn. Shedding would be futile due to shedding having to do with the outside not the inside. so there /thread.
