Okay so i am 17 years old , i am not really sure of my sexuality might be straight might be bi i really don't know.
Honestly, why should that be anyone's concern? Whom you bed with consent is not something to be discussed with strangers ... keep these matter where it should be.
I am like gentle and i like cute stuff and things that make me different than the people around me such as music taste , hair and the most important thing ..
I like old folk songs ... a nearly forgotten genre. And metal too ... tastes can not objective.
Also many decent men really do use products ... its called grooming. But just dont obsess over it.
Personality really i am wierd in more than one way and i know it...
I walk about in circles for hours on an end if I have nothing to do ... People actually call me 'Walkman'. I laugh with the rest of them.
I often act in a "child-ish" or "cute" manner that leads to people always telling me to "man up" !
Only heed that if you are acting moe in serious situation.
Like really i have a big picture of cute kittens next to my bed and my bed sheets are chibi marvel characters and i say "meow" more than a cat would ever say..you get the point.
Well once I used to sleep walk and meow at my parents. Meh, its a phase.
I mean a man is not someone who is serious all the time and can't laugh or be chill , a man is someone who know's how to act in hard situations .. At least that is what a "man" means to me !
A 'man' can be of various types and temperaments but the primary thing that one needs is being responsible ... People take silly/childlike behavior as slippery slope for irresponsible behavior thus lash out at it. But if you had established yourself as someone dependable and responsible when necessary these opposition to your behavior will disappear.
Despite hearing "man up" from alot of people i wont really change myself i can't just say i want to stop liking this and that and change myself for others ..
Change is good but never unnecessarily.
I know i sound like a wimp or something but i am fit and have muscles and can stand up for myself ..
But can you stand up for others and your beliefs?
When needed only..oh and i have friends that totally accept me the way i am.
Good.
Next time think before you tell someone "man up" , how ridiclous would it sound if someone told you become softer or shave your beard ? Exactly that's how i feel
But have you felt what others feel when they say that?
Some just say that to hurt.
Others out of concern.
What do you think ? When someone tells me to man up i reply with something rude but how would you handle the situation if you were in my shoes ?
Laugh along with them but show that I am dependable and responsible when it is needed.
