Right now it's too early to tell.

But I hope boruto doesn't go all Emo with this new power and Sarada has to go after him.

It'll just be a new Sasuke retrieval arc.

And unlike Naruto , Sarada has a brain and doesn't have time to play those let me save friendship games

Eh who cares. I'd rather Boruto go down a darker path, even if it feel rehashed. I'm tired of goody two shoes Main Characters.

Though I'm sure Sarada/Mitsuki will act accordingly, since they care about him dearly. But if Boruto went over the edge, like really bad, then they would become enemies.

Which isn't a bad idea. A Main Character who is somewhat a villain is better than a side character being the only villainous focus.

It kind of gives you two perspectives. Though the series is still too early to tell what will happen. I doubt even if Boruto goes dark he'll stay there very long.

i hope it is ... those were the best seeing everyone pushed to thier limits ...its the only way.. i guess you can say that they couldve playing it in a better way like a tournament or adventure to new lands but yea

Eh i doubt he would go that far into completely turning his friends into enemies, his has emotions and they are pretty strong too, like they will probably force him to join the cult or something, and if he declines or disobey orders from them then they would kill his loved ones. And if he ever sees his friends in danger he would probably try to save them in secret (what i mean by that is Boruto wearing a mask). So that comes to my conclusion, in which Boruto wouldn't go that far IMO, i just don't see it in him, i hope he doesn't go that far with Sasuke.
