The idea of pouring ice water on your head to do something kind for charity is honestly very stupid. It does not make you a philanthropist. I have seen countless videos, and no video bothers to mention anything to do with donations. So pretty much the challenge is you get nominated by 'Bob' and he says you have 24 hours to pour a bucket of water on your head or you have to donate $100, and by making a video, of also going out of your way to do something ridiculous/humorous, most people out there are trying to get likes on social media, and one is basically saying they would rather pour a bucket of ice on their head than donate money. I am not denying it has raised awareness and by chain reaction eventually one person will donate, but the verdict still stands as people are truly forgetting the real purpose and are doing crazy videos to get reactions of others rather than donate money. Thats my stand.
