NB is not dead but the effects of Naruto ending and Boruto lack of power to catter to a wider audience actually made things more calm. This is like this in almost every forum related to Naruto.

It's not as active as it was in the old days, but I would not say it is dead. Plus I think it aged well if you take in consideration the manga ended 3 years ago.
