I guess the guy already had some issues, right? I mean, you'll be pissed(though these days, who wouldn't expect this?), angry, dissapointed, etc. But crying and completely losing his mind? That doesn't happen naturally.

This guy probably had a problem before...well. I feel bad for laughing at this. I should've read first. It's sad.
I concur.

Either that or he was a total drama queen, and if the latter applies, then good riddance.

Damn that's sad. While I think he overreacted, I still think it's wrong that people try to scam others into a relationship.

I do realize that beauty isn't the only attribute to judge one on. But physical appearance is what makes people attracted to each other in the first place and lying about it says a lot about the person.

I've had those situations before, actually I had one yesterday lol

This girl looked great in her pictures but turned out to be less than what I expected. I spent an hour meeting up with her because she couldn't get a ride, pay for the movie, and it was just an overall unpleasant experience.

At least the movie was good.

This is just stupid. I have no sympathy for that idiot. You know what nvm idk whether or not other factors helped in with his decision to jump. But I personally think violence is a cowards way out. Life is hard but you have to stick through it or bend it to your liking.

Samurai committed suicide because they couldn't live down the shame they bore. Does that make them cowardly?

I'm not saying suicide is right, but I think it's a lot harder to take one's own life than others make it seem. I wouldn't call them cowards.

In my opinion it is, when they could just continue living and move past it. Sacrifice is a lot different tho.

The most powerful aspect in human nature is hope. Hope is what gives people the ability to overcome despair and the darkest obstacles of life.

When there is no hope, humans lose the motivation to live any purpose to their life. I don't know if you've ever met a person who has truly lost all hope in life, but let me tell you, I wouldn't call them cowards for not being able to get themselves back together.

It's hard picking up every piece of a broken mirror and putting it back together in the correct order.

Obviously a lot of suicide is committed for trivial reasons, like losing a girlfriend, but I think there are certain things that I can see as somewhat justifiable.

Believe it or not I've had a couple of friends like that. One got raped and one lost his brother to gang violence they still willed themselves together. I simply don't agree with you. We'll just have to agree to disagree because I don't see suicide in "any circumstance" as justifiable.

Ok, well have you ever seen someone lose their children, become bankrupt, and get their arm amputated? I don't think I'd want to live after that.

Would you want to live after you got flayed? I know I wouldn't.

But I suppose everyone has their own opinion

You're comparing honour to something as insignificant as physical appearance? Smh.

Samurai did not commit suicide "because they couldn't live down the shame", they committed suicide because it was part of their code. Honour was of the utmost importance for samurai and losing it would have resulted in a worthless life.

Seeing a girl's face and not liking it does not result in a worthless life, and therefore doesn't provoke suicide.
