So basically I waited an entire week, expecting Madara to do something drastic in this chapter. All he did was exchange a few words with Hashirama and die...

Well at least he wasn't Talk no jutsu'd by Naruto. I guess that would have been worse.

But still, this Manga now feels so empty. Madara was my favorite character, and now I just don't care as much about this Manga as before.

you know why, because a lot of people that are disappointed spend a lot of time reading different lame fan theories, and this is the problem. You will have certain expectations, and when they are not met you get disappointed. Also I do agree manga has been going downhill since the Juubi ark

They weren't completely ridiculous. I mean Madara was a villain for such a long time, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect him to do something.
