Well, I guess these can be called the 2011 Grounds for Divorce.

It's a ground for divorce for long.. in common law i.e. If one spouse refuses conjugal rights without any reasonable grounds other party can ask for divorce... No idea about France particularly.
Asking for compeansation- now that's I didn't heard before..I think the guy couldn't prove that there was any reasonable ground for denial..

There was a case some time back where an Ex wife had claimed compensation from her husbands mistress for breaking up their marriage and had won in USA .. didn't she?

I saw the title of this thread and then the username of the last poster Isthatnecessary and I was like lol...
But that is a bit weird if you ask me...her divorcing and taking him to court...for that. There are other ways to get that if she needed it so badly.​
