Just putting that out there, because it's totally true. Kishimoto may not provide the strongest female leads for us to work with but any female character who shows a sign of weakness or does something wrong gets MASSACRED on here. And this ISN'T just Sakura.
Tsunade: What's that? She can't tank Madara and solo him effortlessly? WHAT A B*TCH. She saved Konoha from Pain and ended up in a coma? SHES WEAK UGHHHH STUPID FODDER
Mei: awesome Kekkai Genkai. Strong ninja. She shows the smallest sign of being nervous about fighting one of the strongest ninja ever and people call her a coward for it? WEAKEST OUT OF KAGE HOW PATHETIC (um yeah still a kage though? you know thats a pretty big deal?)
Konan: Huh? You COULDN'T murder the main antagonist? As IF. FODDER. Konan is a fantastic character and also a very good fighter, everybody forgetting the fact that she went rogue from the Akatsuki and protected her friend's graves? And also, I dont know- ALMOST KILLED TOBI!?
Karin: Karin serves her purpose as a good sensory ninja? HOW DARE SHE.
Y'know who else makes mistakes? Itachi. His entire plan ended in failure, Kakashi DID allow his comrades to die, Hashirama failed to make the Uchiha and the Senju live in perfect harmony, Naruto failed to bring Sasuke back and broke his promise. These guys are instantly forgiven. It may have been out of their control, yes but if a female lead did this- you'd destroy them for it. Admit it.
You can easily say the same for tenten, ino and many others. Though of course it's the base, i'm not surprised. They're just there for boobs and *** appeal according to some of you...It's lame.
