According to russian media a malaysian airlines plane (Boeing 777) has crashed near russian border.
It was carrying 295 people on board.
This is the second such incident in 4 months (MH370, had gone missing on 8 march, 227 passengers were onboard)

There is still no news on casualties.

It was apparently shot down by a missile, not clear by whom.(Pro-russians or the military)

They posted on Twitter: "Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow.."
