The water element:
-Strong to fire, and weak to earth. Also lightning can be channeled through it, but is simply neutral to it in a direct clash.
-Good for defensive purposes, and blunt force trauma based damage.
-Takes less fine tuned chakra control, as it is a widespread and unfocused element.
-Can be used for deception purposes, such as with Kirigakure no Jutsu, as well as restrictive purposes, such as with Water Prison.
-Usually requires a water source.
