Someone mentioned this a long time ago & I loved the idea : "Have everything be said & done in the end , Naruto as Hokage , Sauske doing his thing etc ....& right before it ends it shows the moon with the plan activated '

Naruto and Sasuke get healed, then while they're still becoming conscious, Madara kills everybody except Naruto and Sasuke.

Then Naruto and Sasuke talk no jutsu Madara into believing that they could lead the world towards true peace, instead of dreams.

Then Madara explains why he can do it better, but he wants them to all agree on a choice.

So, Madara gives them both a choice, his infinite Tsukyomi or the Shinobi alliance, but if they choose the alliance, they have to die in return for madara re-creating the Bijuu and reviving the entire alliance.

I love this! Just have like a cliffhanger, where the reader can interpret the ending however he/she pleases! Brilliant!

Naruto wins but at the end it shows Madara waking up from his underground base.

Naruto makes the killing blow on Madara, before they both turn into white zetsu's as we discover that they killed off everyone in the war including Madara. A white zetsu then turns into baby Nardo as they react the whole story from beginning to end all over again.

there was one theory where this happened before but it'd be the most shocking ending I could think of.

Yes....it's a good idea it would be very wild. I'd be shocked....I believe Aya San was the first one to have this idea.

When Madara takes in the other half of Kurama, the Juubi becomes sentient and rips open Madara's body like a kid opening his new PlayStation on Christmas. The rest of the Alliance now has to fight the full Juubi. Obito dies whilst Black Zetsu just disintegrates into nothing, his purpose being fulfilled.

Meanwhile, Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, and Madara wake up in what appears to be some sort of purgatory. In the far distance, they see a portal back to the real world, but it will only take two people's chakra back to their bodies before closing. The three of them team up against Madara to make sure he doesn't get back. They can't defeat him, but Obito manages to restrain him while Naruto and Sasuke head for the portal. When they get there, Sasuke incapacitates Naruto, and jumps through alone, closing the portal with some sort of Uchiha tech, saying that he just eliminated his competition for Hokage.

When he returns, he awakens the Rinnegan, and takes out the Juubi. Secretly, Orochimaru turns the Zetsu he has left into Naruto, who impersonates him. "Naruto" is made Hokage, who makes Sasuke his advisor. The puppet Naruto is manipulated by Sasuke, and does whatever he tells him. After a while, Sasuke is troubled by dreams of Naruto, who curses him for what he did. Unable to live with the guilt, he goes crazy and destroys everything in his path. In the final chapter, Konoha is shown being burnt to the ground. Standing on top of the rubble is the Zetsu Naruto, with a blank smile on his face. The final panel says "Peace is an illusion".
