Tsunade: Healer, Katsuyu

Minato: Kcm, speed, spacetime barrier

Gaara: Protects everyone with sand

Shikamaru: Strategist

Gai: taijutsu fighter

or:

Sasuke: genjutsu+snakes+Defense+ all out power. Can spam Susanoo a lot more than Itachi and can protect the team better.

Orochimaru: Intelligence, power, knowledge over others, can get revived by Sasuke because of the character below, if anyone dies, Orochimaru can sacrifice an enemy and just bring them back

Kimimaro: Taijutsu specialist of the team, his cursemark can revive Orochimaru if he dies thus making the enemy even more in trouble. That bone technique where they come out of the ground is pretty usefull too. Once Kimimaro's cursemark is gone, Orochimaru can take his body and be the powerhouse of the team

Itachi: genjutsu+intelligence+sealing techniques+the KA crow solos (hate that word)

Neji: sensor type, taijutsu fighter as well, can help Kimimaro push the enemy back, and can watch the battlefield

*sidenote: all members of the team have speed stats of 4.5 or above, with Neji watching the battlefield, it'll be hard to hurt them.

(Those last five were my favs characters, tho they didn't have a healer)

 

[Sacrosanct]

Try to make your best team of 5. I am going to restrict some characters and i will place some criteria. It's simple the team does not have to be the strongest thats not what the aim is being the best is. So not so much 1 man armies as a well rounded team. Imagine if you will the team starts in an undisclosed location and they dont know who they are fighting in battle who would you pick. Here are mine.

Restricted characters that people would obliviously pick and say each one shot a team which is not true are

Madara
Hashirama
Third Raikage
Obito
Kabuto
Nagato
Pein
Also no edo characters please

Deidera, as he can fly and scout the enemy and get an idea of the terrain and not much can get him when he is in the air and he can do massive damage with his bombs.

Minato, as he would be the fastest and best in terms of assassination and would help with team transportation and can hold his own against anyone. Also awesome sealing and sensoring

Itachi, as his amerterasu is pretty much a one shot jutsu and his genjutsu can easily paralyze opponents.

MUU, well he also has flying, combined with invisibility and sensoring he could easily scout at the enemy, head back to base formulate a plan with the team and take them out by surprise.

Kisame, as he could create a water dome say around a building keeping any attacks from getting in and can absorb chakra from attacks though im not sure how fast.

Naruto, Itachi, Sasuke, Minato, Tobirama.

Naruto gives Itachi, Sasuke, Minato, and Tobirama Kurama's chakra cloak and they beat any other team you pit them against.

Gaara: Defends everyone and basically bad ass

Neji: No sneak attacks against us

A: If kakashi cant get fast opponent with kumui he gets them easily

Naruto: If he gives Naruto cloak to the guys above its practically over
