The history doesn't make sense. Clans like Nara, Akamaichi, Yamanaka etc. are very protective of their techniques and they aren't just going to teach it to outsiders.
You don't have to be necessarily blood-related, however in the least you should be adopted from a very young age into the Akamichi clan, otherwise it doesn't make sense in your history that you become an Akamichi.
