Major Flaw in Itachi's Plan and Sasuke's death could have been beneficial

Well we all know itachi sama planned to give up his eyes for his beloved brother sasuke, who he most likely beleaved would surpass him and be an asset/hero of leaf. But one thing that he didnt take into account was this. ​

Had sasuke died Itachi would have had to change plans

Now i can see this being potentially beneficial, as itachi would no longer have any reason to conserve his health, He would most likely betray akatsuk, and help bring it down, heck he might even have helped protect leaf from orochiamru and end up killing kabuto, so no edo's no madara.. no ugly mess, naruto might have gone emo having lost his boyfriend but he would swear and grow stronger to able to protect friends in future.​

Not saying he'd solo akatsuki but he would be helpful asset , and kismae might not even see it coming. Maybe getting rid of hidan saves asuma as well.

Kishi was gonna make Naruto as the only protagonist, but after speaking with his editor about the future of the series, he was advised to create a rival character for the series' protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, which resulted in Sasuke's creation.

itachi did take all of this into account. The reason he's in kakashi's squad is because kakashi (at the time) was easily the first or second strongest jonin in the leaf.

Lets not forget itachi pleaded with the 3rd hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi to protect Sasuke Uchiha. If he hadn't, Itachi would have without a doubt outed the leaf village for their treasonous act against the Uchiha clan. The death of sasuke in theory would mentally destroy itachi and he would most likely become another Nagato (before he met naruto)

You didn't reveal any flaw that was a decision on sasuke's behalf that had nothing to do with itachi's overall plan.
Kill sasuke off changes events meaning there would be more akatksui members alive for itachi to fight meaning more strain on his eyes he would of never had enough stamina or possibly no eye to sacrifice to use izanami not to mention if he was alive kabuto would of been immune to every genjustu but that one.So you see kabuto alone would cost him one eye alone additional akaskui members would be overkill

The flaw was believing that sasuke wouldnt be harmed.. and i wasnt talking bout itachi soloing them more like with him making moves maybe jman and the others could have gotten rid akatsuki eventually.
