[Discussion] Major confusion

I don't mean to whine about every mistake Kubo makes but, this one is too much to ignore.

On chapter 553 page 6, Marechiyo Ōmaeda is clearly standing a few feet away from the quincy, who is leaning over Soifon.

On the next page however, Ōmaeda is now miraculously kneeling over Soifon instead.

Did something happen that I'm missing here?

Flash-step probably. In his fight with the elephant-Arrancar it was shown he's faster than he looks. I find it more weird that Soifon's pill didn't disappear when he touched it as Kisuke said that it would activate if you just touched it. That might be explained though by saying that it only works once or that you can only use one in a select time period as he already used one in the previous chapter.

It's weird though as what happened to those weird tentacles that were sticking out of him? I would almost say there's a page missing.

I would think Kubo would've shown him flash step in a panel and they tentacles just appeared then disappeared
