Maito Gai is stronger then kakashi..??

Maito Gai defeated Kisame Goshigaki one of the strongest characters, and didnt end up in the konoha hospital...unlike kakashi after every mission...kakashi has more jutsus but guy has more endurance...but im just asking what do you think.?

I don't think eight gates would make him better than Kakashi... If Gai has to die to bring Kakashi down, that would be considered a draw.

Or if you are talking about him using like the seventh gate? Well, if he can manage to do that before Kakashi lands Kamui on him, then yeah. If he can't, then he dies.

Yeah you are right, seven would be enough if he uses it first. It just depends on whose trump card lands first. Let's not forget that Kakashi can warp one of the faster attacks in the series now... And Gai is all about speed.

How would samahada help to fight gai.

If kisame couldnt absorb gais moves samahada cant either. And if samahdada cant help by absorbing chakra is just a blunt sword.

And gai didnt even have his nucchucks either. Gai clearly had good match up against how kisame fights. Kisame steals chakra to blunt his enemies techniques but cant do that against gai. Main reason why hes was good to deal with hosts like bee.

As for kahashi, given the massive speed and strength differnece, the only chance kahashi would have is to use his MS timespace jutsu which means this chakra will be cut short and if hes is unsessful in catching him.

So I think Gai would come out on top, all depends if he could catch gai in MS jutsu, at this point it looks unlikey gai is way to fast.

This may be the most retarded comment i have ever seen in my life...it doesnt matter if gai doesnt use his chakra...all ninja's still have it... even lee he just can't manipulate it well so he focus on taijutsu.... and Its not a freaken blunt sword its made of sharkskin which is like sandpaper x 10 and even if its technically a blunt weapon what do you think clubs and maces are...oh wait blunt weapons....which kill people... Kakashi is stronger due to many facts, he can preform genjutsu which gai would fall for as he focus on taijutsu not countering genjutsu's. Gai is faster but kakshi's sharigan counetracts that due to being able to watch extremely high movments. + he has MS and summons. Samahad is a sword. it seems ppl may have forgotten that kakashi is able to open the gates as well, if we're talking about a death match here, im pretty sure kakashi would use everything in his arsenal, and besides, the guy is a genius, im sure he'd have something in store for fast as hell opponents, but i guess thats a bit off topic, if we're talking about gai being stronger Versus-wise, then i dont agree, but as far as strength & endurance goes, heck yea, gai has him beat

not looking the sharingan in the eye only prevents the hypnotic part of it, other than that, the user can still read your every movement, i guess it'd just be kakashis job to keep up with gai if it were a tai fight

Gai is perfectly capable of countering genjutsu and he also has a summon, a red tortoise.

Kakashi can warp one of the faster attacks in the series now... And Gai is all about speed.

Kakashi warped away an object that was moving in a straight line. Gai will be constantly moving.

Gai on the other hand uses taijutsu and when opening the gates he doesn't consume much chakra, chakra just flows faster through his body

so how in hell can you compare them by being hospitalized or not? Gai's lack of additional abilities is the exact reason why he couldn't win this fight
