The 8th Gate is most likely more powerful than anything we have seen yet.

I doubt that. I'm sure it would be powerful, but 7th gate gai couldn't even kill kisame...after all the beating Gai did on kisame using the 7th gate, he couldn't even manage to kill him, kisame ended up killing himself. So I don't think 8th gate would make him more powerful than the juubi, or edo madara
