Mainstream anime question

One piece takes forever to get good, but its definitely worth the wait.

All depends if you wanna invest your time. Though it took me like 300 episodes before I really enjoyed it

Hence¡ One Piece takes a long time to get interesting, but when it gets interesting... well... it gets EXTREMELY interesting.



Bleach, on the other hand... well, what I actually like the most about it was the beggining. Bleach's plot is generaly underwhelming (with the exception of just one arc, in which the plot is overwhelmingly good; trust me, if you read this series, you will instantly know about what arc I am talking, as everyone here does for sure...).

However, in my opinion the best about Bleach is both the pacing and the artstyle of the manga.

You barely have any boring or filler-like moment. And Kubo, is a true master of photography (I don't know if this is a correct term for a Manga, anyways), and he always knows what plane to display and how to do draw it (highlighting his usage of black).





If you want an almost perfect manga in all areas, you should read 20t Century Boys. This manga is so good that everything else you read will seem a bit disappointing. However, this one lacks an anime version of it.

Don't watch/read OP but for Bleach, it's great but there is one arc called the "Fullbring Arc" that sucks hard, imo. The current and final arc of the manga (the anime stopped/discontinued) is a war arc which I find decent. Have its ups and downs.

With Bleach, get through the first season. When the Soul Society arc begins it gets really good

Imho, you shouldn't. I tried getting into both Bleach and OP but they're a bore fest.

Compared to the likes of the top Shonen like One Piece or HxH, Bleach is quite mediocre, more along the lines of Fairy Tail

Who has best Fanbase and community like NB who make theories and such ?

One Piece has an amazing fanbase. I like to exclude Aqeel96 from the fanbase though.

Is it better to start with the manga and then watch episodes when it gets interesting ?

Like I mentioned in one of your other threads. Read the manga but the only arcs that are worth watching in the anime is the Enies Lobby arc, Sabaody Arc & Marineford Arc. The anime is bad after the timeskip (excluding the 1st episode of the TS) but I'll admit it has good OST's and amazing voice-acting. The pacing is f*cking terrible and sometimes the animation.

um both of those have a certain level of suck factor to it and the only reason that i still care about bleach (screw one piece) is the same as to why i watch/read naruto: i've followed it from the first and i just have to know the ending. that is ****ing all.

want any good anime? watch agk.

Both are very good.. i prefer onepiece story wise and and the manga is amusing and just generally entertaining..

Bleach has some awesome fights and characters but the powers are inconsistent..

for consistency and good fights with good character i suggest onepiece

One Piece was enjoyable the whole time I was watching/reading it. Start off with the anime for a little while, then continue off with the manga. Also, Bleach was good up until the Aizen Arc (where in my opinion, it should have ended).

I only consider OP good because its universe is gigantic and fascinating. God bless Oda for all the creativity, but I'm really only in it to find out everything. Bleach is okay, but the whole Shinigami thing is no where near as interesting as Naruto's ninja world.
