By mains I am referring to the "Narutos" of the 3 man teams, and by that i don't mean people who act like him.. but i mean the people that are the most important from that team.


3 Sanin : Tsunade

Team 7: Naruto

Team Tobirama : Hiruzen

Team Guy: Lee

Team Kurenai : Kiba

Team Asuma : Shikamaru

Team Gaara : Gaara

Team Jiraiya : Minato

Team Jiraiya (Number 2): Yahiko

Team Minato : Kakashi

For the most part that's the way I perceive them too. Although I feel Kakashi's team is something of an exception, both Obito and Kakashi seemed to drive the plot of their specific team around the same.

Sasuke defected so... Yeah. I agree, great list.

Why would Tsunade be the main of the Sannin ? Oro is much more worthy of that position, he was the one that was considered to be a once in a decade genius.

Nagato would be the main for jiraya team 2 instead I yahiko. Tsuande is the most important due to her family history, relationships with oro and jiraya, relationship with Dan, becoming Hokage, and implementing the medic ninja concept

I would say team 10 that Hinata is the most important, her past has been shown, character development canonly. And she has a crush on Naruto.

Shino & Kiba havent really seen much growth, and their pasts havent been revealed, whenever it shows them together, its usually hinata getting the spot light, with Shino in the background and Kiba throwing his two cents in.

She has had more screen time than Kiba, especially during this war and the Pain Arc.

Kiba's past was only ever revealed thru filler, not canon.

Don't know why people are surprised to see Tsunade as most important. In battle support ninja are always important, especially when they can buff your moves (Like Tsunade can) or heal you (Like Tsunade can).
