"Your people were noble once. Are you ready to prove that they are once again?"

Basic Information

NAME: Magus Medivh
NICKNAME: The Last Guardian | The Prophet | The Oracle | The Accursed
GENDER: Male
AGE: 38
CLAN: Noldor

APPEARANCE: As a child, Medivh is described as having brown hair and eyes that changed from blue to green depending on the light. In maturity he was tall and well built, with a fit but ordinary build, and had long, loose hair and a beard of sandy brown.

PERSONALITY: Medivh’s soul constantly struggled with that of Sargeras for control of his body and mind. The fight between them was constant, and resulted in Medivh shifting periodically between stretches of calmness and lucidity and bouts of strangely incomprehensible behavior. To outsiders, he often seemed to make abrupt decisions or reverse his position on issues. When the struggle between the two souls became too great for Medivh's body to handle, he sank into a catatonic state and became completely unresponsive. These periods varied greatly in duration and could range from a matter of minutes to months. Sargeras is what Medivh calls his other personality, as he has a split personality or a personality disorder.

When Medivh was in control of his body and mind, he is a friendly and wise individual. He cares deeply for a number of the high-ranking human leaders and put the needs of the Noldor kingdom above almost everything else. He had defended Lothlorien from attack many times throughout the years and has built a great reputation as a staunch defender of the land. He was not naturally biased against any of the nations, and displayed a fair amount of interest in people who brought to him stories of distant lands or cultures.

However, when Sargeras was in control, Medivh’s personality shifted dramatically. He became sullen and distant, barely acknowledged the presence of close friends, and practically ignored strangers. He was secretive and often traveled to faraway places abruptly. In private, Medivh would not hesitate to do away with annoying visitors by using his abilities to kill or incapacitate them. However, he was moderately concerned about his cover being blown with the Lothlorien leadership and would not act out of character in public.

Medivh's tactics were often erratic, depending upon which personality was in control at the time. Nonetheless, the common theme with both personalities was to stay at range and harass enemies with potent powers. He often cast only a few techniques and then retreated for a few rounds to strike again later from another direction.

Background Information

HISTORY:

Birth & Childhood

Medivh’s mother, Aegwynn, served as the Guardian of Tirisfal before him. Tirisfal is a sanctuary or a citadel where only he and his mother lived together with a servant or friend whom helped maintain, clean and keep everything in order. His mother the guardian of Tirisfal, the guardian of the vast knowledge hidden within it, the citadel served as a library containing vast knowledge of the ninja world, obtained by the Noldor, and it was protected by his mother. Aegwynn, his mother, fought and defeated an evil man known as Sargeras, a powerful warlord whom roamed the ninja worl, pillage, raped and plundered everything in his wake. Sargeras was seemingly defeated, but he used this opportunity to cloud and twist Aegwynns mind.

Aegwynns’ thoughts became twisted and she became distant from the Council of Tirisfal, the Noldor whom lived in Lothlorien, rarely being seen by them. Her twisted mind had amplified her fears about the council, revealing they had used their powers to manipulate the politics of the Eastern lands. They believed they had the power to prevent war suffering, for the greater good. Aegwynn believed the constant manipulations would end in disaster. She decided to not relinguish her role as Guardian, for fear that the Noldor Council could elect a new weaker Guardian they could control and manipulate. They did not approve of her decision to stay on as Guardian but they allowed it for the moment.
Her relationship with the Noldor would become more distant over the years. Hidden from the Noldor’s watchful eye, Aegwynn hid away in the tower known as Karazhan within the Noldor, and to outsiders it would be known as Tirisfal. The tower acted as sanctuary for Aegwynn. She would use the tower as a refuge when avoiding the Council of Tirisfal. As older members of the Council passed new younger ones would join. These new members wanted to force her to give up her position. They formed the Tirisgarde, an order within the Noldor armed with ancient weapons and relics they could use to subdue Aegwynn. For several years they had searched for Aegwynn until they found her refuge at Karazhan. She sealed Karazhan so the Council could never gain the knowledge hidden within it and fled to the ruined city of the Uzumaki Clan, where she would hide for several years; all the while keeping an eye on the Council of Tirisfal and the rest of the Noldor.

Aegwynn would on occasion leave the Uzumaki ruins to watch the Noldor. It was one of these times that she was finally caught by the Tirisgarde, Nielas Aran. Aran would use various powers and abilities to nullify her vast powers and slow her down. Over the course of several months the two came at odds. However the fighting would end when both realized each other’s true nature. Aran learned that Aegwynn was not the traitorous rebel the Noldor Council made him think she was. And she learned that Aran also loathed political manipulations the Council had been carrying.

It was not long before the two fell in love. They agreed they must work together to prevent the Council from controlling another Guardian, to gain the knowledge of the world’s largest library, Karazhan. They decided to create an heir and pass on the title of Guardian to that heir. She gave birth to a son she named Magus Medivh. She locked her knowledge of the Council within Medivh, with help from Aran, where they could manifest upon maturity. Aegwynn soon left Medivh in Aran’s care. She went into hiding watching her beloved Medivh from afar.

Medivh had a happy childhood in the Noldor Kingdom, primarily spent with friends Llane Wrynn and Anduin Lothar, both of royal blood within the Noldor Clan. One day, while out on the road, Medivh and his friends were ambushed by three shinobi. None were hurt badly; however, Medivh fainted after casting several techniques. He would succumb to a coma on the eve of his fourteenth birthday, awaking in the middle of the night from evil dreams, where he pictured figures giving chase through deep chasms. In a sweat, eh stumbled into his father’s room, and when his father touched his brow, the knowledge his mother had given him awoke. No less than ten medical ready Noldor and his father had to combine their talents to subdue and contain the knowledge within Medivh so that he did not fall insane to the vast knowledge awoken within him. By the time the knowledge given to him had been maintained, Aran was dead and Medivh nearly so himself. Spanning almost ten years, Medivh, in a coma caused by the sealed knowledge, was tended by his friend Anduin Lothar.

The Fallen Guardian

Medivh awoke a decade later from his coma, under a façade of control, and assured the Noldor and the Council that he was fine. But the knowledge and memories given to him by his mother twisted his thoughts and emotions towards an insidious end. With Medivh’s powers growing exponentially daily, he had set out to know everything, and he even consorted with the different clans spread out across the ninja world. He began to search for something with which to destroy the Noldor, who he saw as the only thing standing in his way of true power. He found that in Minas Morgul, a dark citadel of the Nekura Clan. Bargaining with the warlord of the Clan, Medivh promised to furnish him with the location and knowledge necessary to bring his clan back from the ashes and once more become the Alpha among the clans. He proved he had this knowledge, and would give it in return if the warlord would bring his army to Lothlorien and destroy the Noldor. And so, aided on the other side of the world, Medivh helped the Nekura travel unnoticed from Minas Morgul to Lothlorien.

Aegwynn his mother could not fathom what had happened, but she sensed the presence of dark and evil minds lurking in the shadows, and she knew Medivh must have somehow allied himself with evil itself. Aegwynn traveled to Karazhan to confront Medivh about it. The tower was crowded with nobles of the Noldor expecting a gala, and so Aegwynn entered alone at first, hoping to convince Medivh to give up his plans peacefully. Aegwynn was stunned as the truth set in, she had done this to her own son, but she did not lose herself to despair. Instead, Aegwynn became angry and knew she would stop her own son ther and then, even if it meant striking him down. The battle between the two shook the tower to its foundations and sent the would-be revelers fleeing. When Aegwynn was temporarily incapacitated, the man whom she had brought a long interfered. However, despite being a powerful Noldor he was severely outmatched. Medivh struck him down, burning him from the inside out until all that was left was bone. Her friend’s death sent Aegwynn further into her rage. Medivh may have immense power but she had years of experience. As their duel continued, Aegwynn slowly gained the upper hand. Unable to kill Aegwynn, Medivh instead banished her from Lothlorien through the help of the Nekura.

To prevent the Council of Tirisfal from meddling in his affairs, Medivh secretly began killing its members in “accidents”. At some point during these events, some traveling merchants who attempted to cheat him by selling him counterfeit artifacts, Medivh cursed them and today they are known as the Toad Statues of the Tirisfal Pass, standing by the entrance to Karazhan.

It was shortly after this time that the Noldor sent medivh an apprentice. This young apprentice was known as Khadgar, a name which among the Noldor meant trust. Time passed as “Young Trust” studied under Medivh. He lived within Karazhan with a few others: Medivh studying, Moroes serving as his aide, and Cook making meals for them.

Khadgar would be the first to discover that it was Medivh who has brought the reign of chaos from the Nekura upon Lothlorien. During this time, Khadgar and Laxus had an audience with Llaine, Anduin and their trusted advisor Zeref, wwhere they were convinced of Medivh’s corrupted mind. Anduin, one of Medivh’s best friends, led the Noldor, which included Khadgar, Laxus and Zeref, to deal with the crazed Guardian. During the battle with medivh, Khadgar was aged and killed by him, while anduin and Llaine were both severely injured and traumatized. Laxus and Zeref the last ones standing between him and his goal. Laxus sheer physical strength allowed him to subdue Medivh, while Zeref the Kazekage managed in this one moment of weakness to lock away the memories and darkness that resided within him, managing to defeat Medivh. Medivh always knew of his betrayal and what he had done, he had betrayed everyone he loved and he had caused so much pain to everyone. Medivh awoke several hours later within the land of Lothlorien, greeted by the Noldor, Laxus and Zeref. The Noldor together with the help of Zeref and Sunagakure managed to force the Nekura to withdraw from their lands. Even if Medivhs’ dark and evil thoughts had been purified and locked away, he had still done unspeakable horrors and the Noldor could not allow him to stay within their lands. Medivh was banished from Lothlorien and was forced into exile. Medivh lived in his home in Karazhan, the tower, which was located in the land of wind. However he spent most of his time in Sunagakure where he helped the village, while living under the radar and also helped Zeref the Kazekage as thanks for his help in the past. Medivh over time, moved all the books, scrolls and ancient knowledge gathered by the previous Guardians and the Noldor into Sunagakure in a vault hidden beneath the desert within the village, a passage only he knew of, while abandoning Karazhan and Tirisfal which would long after succumb to the harsh weather and fall to the ground as ruins.

OTHER/SPECIALTIES:

Elemental Mastery: Magus Medivh has a powerful connection with certain elements that allows him to utilize them more freely than others. One of these elements is the element of Wind, which he can manipulate, control and use with the simple use of a single hand seal. While the element that he has become to be known for is the element of Fire, which he has mastered to such an extent that he can use it faster than most shinobi. Magus being immensely skilled within both fields allow him to be a powerful adversary towards anyone. To further his abilities and powers he has been granted the sword known as Shine-Tsu-Hiko - God of the Wind, which allow him to simply swing the sword to generate any wind based techniques within his knowledge.

Shine-Tsu-Hiko - God of the Wind
 The user doesn't need to do any handseals for his fuuton jutsu's, instead he just needs to swing his sword.

 Gives +15 damage to every fuuton jutsu of the user.

 Fuuton jutsu's of the opponent loose -10 damage.

 Katon jutsu's of the user loose -10 damage.

 By focusing fuuton chakra in the blade, a small hurricane of slicing winds appears around the blade of the sword, increasing its length a bit. The winds can cause severe wounds, but due to its rotational force it actually can redirect small objects. For instance a kunai that is thrown at you can be redirected 180° by rotating around the sword. Twice per battle it can be used to destroy C-rank or below fuuton jutsu's.

 Three times per battle the sword can negate the elemental weakness of one fuuton jutsu, making it so it doesn't have any basic elemental weakness. It has to be said when using this ability on the moment you use the fuuton jutsu.

 The sword gives the user some levitational abilities (not flying). This means for instance that when the user would fall from extreme hights, he could just land normally on the ground without injuries. It allows the opposite as well, namely that the user can easily reach great heights by jumping and he can surf slowly on air currents (this can't be used to dodge direct attacks).

Toads & Senjutsu: Medivh is a master of the Toad arts and is capable of summoning various toads to aid him in combat, these including Gamabunt and Gamaken which are his preferred allies in combat, unless he is forced to utilize Sage Mode, in which he generally wishes to be able to summon Ma and Pa, or Hope and Will (Custom Summons). Medivh was taught how to use senjutsu by Fukasaku, which he can use to increase his speed, durability, and physical strength. He can also use it to empower his othe rninjutsu, such as the Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan. Before he can gain these benefits, Medivh must enter Sage Mode, which he has complete mastery of. As a master of the Sage Art, his appearance does not change, however he gains purple lines across his face as well as his eyes begin to glow purple.

Weaponry & Tools: Medivh wields a large array of tools and weaponry stored away in his pouch. These include; Shuriken, Kunai, Smoke Bombs, Explosive Tags, Senbon, Wire, Chili Pepper Bombs, Flash Bombs and many more tools for combat. However he also wields a regular katana strapped across his back, as well as several Tomahawks being strapped to his hips, for quick and easy access. He also possesses scrolls he can utilize to summon different animals from the Toad Contract as well as scrolls he uses to summon tools or weapons of his choosing. Medivh also has the summon symbol written upon the chest area of his clothing, allowing him to draw blood and summon the toads through that symbol, instead of slamming his palm upon the ground.

Atiesh – Greatstaff of the Guardian: This ancient relic is wielded by Medivh as his most trusted weapon. A staff created from the tree of life, which holds immense power, which he utilizes in combat. Due to the staffs immense durability it can be used on equal terms with swords and other weaponry, while it can be used with different staff, spear fighting styles or similar styles. However due to Medivh having incredible powers and control, and his mastery of the Illusionary Arts, this staff grants him illusionary prowess that makes him able to match most of his foes.

(Hogo-Sha No Idaina Hito) – Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: One of the most powerful relics found in the ninja world, the staff, Atiesh. This staff made of wood from the tree of life has a metallic base and several symbols and lines running across the surface of the staff. At the top of the staff there is a small figurine of a raven while there is a red and blue scarf tied around the staff just under the raven. This ancient relics physical appearance and its immense durability due to it being created from the tree of life, allows it to be used in combat against different weapons such as swords, spears and other lethal weapons on equal grounds. This staff can be utilized in close quarters combat, and can be combined with weapon techniques or fighting styles that revolve around the usage of a staff or spear or styles that utilize weapons of similar structure. Due to the staff being created from the tree of life, the staff has a high durablity and can be hit by the total power of S rank before breaking. The powers of the staff revolve around the wielders powers of manipulating the minds of others, the staff amplifying illusions, allowing the user to use the staff as a medium to induce basic cannon genjutsu through the eyes on the staff glowing red, using this as a visual medium for the illusion, this is a passive effect replacing the need for handseals or other methods to induce the basic cannon genjutsu. The true power of this staff comes from the illusions that this staff is capable of casting. Another small detail to note about this relic, is the raven on top of the staff, the ravens eyes will have a red glow and release a red light from its eyes whenever a foreign chakra is within short-range of the wielder of the staff, alerting them of the presence of a shinobi, animal or something else (This effect is active through the staff constantly taking -5 chakra from the wielder and spending it to emit a sort of detection barrier).

The first illusion that is tied to this staff is known as Polymorph, a simple yet effective illusion. Polymorph is the core illusion of this staff, which when cast upon the target(s), they will believe that they have been transformed into small fluffy sheep no taller than reaching a person’s knees. When the target(s) are under the illusion of being transformed to sheep, they are paralyzed in reality, as they cannot move or function as a normal human, the sheep unable to use hands nor perform hand seals; the sheep causes the target(s) to be somewhat useless, as neither hand seals nor speaking is an option. The polymorph illusion is considered an A-rank illusion capable of being cast upon more than one target during combat, without splitting its rank, and up to mid-range from the staff. This illusion will be cast by the eyes glowing green on the staff, emitting a light that induces the genjutsu.

Note:
- This staff can only be wielded by the user, if anyone else attempts to wield the staff they will be cast under the illusion of being transformed into a sheep, and every time they keep trying to wield it they will continue to be cast under the same illusion even if broken the first time.
- The Polymorph illusion is considered A-rank and can be cast a total of 3 times during a fight, taking up one of the three moves per turn.

Noldor Abilities: Magus being of Noldor decent has unique features such as the his ears that are pointy and far more advanced allowing him to hear lower volumes of sound, as well as him being taller and more muscular than most people, even to the extent of him being physically stronger than most normal men (Not enough to gain Taijutsu boosts). One of the more important features of the Noldor clan is their enhanced vision as they can see in both lower and higher light conditions to a far greater extent than a normal human being, allowing Magus to see in a place where there is virtually no light, as well as them being able to see more clearly in the distance and at longer distances than a normal man. One of the most renown powers of the Noldor is their Intent sensing, which allows Magus to sense peoples evil intentions. He is capable of sensing your intent through your chakra and thus sense your location as well as him sensing your intentions and capable of sensing incoming techniques if they have intentions of injuring or attacking him in any way. Finally the most powerful ability possessed by the Noldor is the Holy Fire, which is an incredibly might fire which purifies and destroys anything in its path (See Clan description).

You shouldn't give away such unique ideas in public like that. :)

Seems like a waste of a war prize tbh, you could lose the sword in the first fight. You should have chosen something useful that you don't possess.
Was that sarcasm? xd If yes then lol, if no, then his gunpowder is unique as it's solid then can explode and his character actually makes golems, so kinda fits, and it's not like it's something that's never been thought of xd

As for the sword, take what you can get when you can get it. It's a strong addition to his CC bio, and the CC is quite versatile too. Should make for an interesting combo.

It was either the sword or Han so really either isn't that great to have to choose between
