Looks:​
With pale grey skin and red eyes, at first glance Magus may look like something out of a vampire book. Although he is not, those aren't the only traits he shares with the known supernatural monsters. Along with long, light-blue hair, closing in on being white, he also has deep red eyes that used to be a bright green color. Wielding a scythe slightly taller than himself, Magus shows his muscle mass with every swing as his red, and sometimes violet, cape follows suit. He has also equipped himself with magenta leggings paired with a leather chest guard with matching gauntlets, and boots. Although his cape is mainly red, he does switch it to blue from time to time.

Personality:​
Although he is gloomy, broody, and utterly selfish, don't mistake Magus for one that is not faithful. Standing by his family, Magus ambitiously searches for his missing sister, Schala. Although he is slow to trust someone, he stayed by his friends through thick and thin as long as they served assistance in helping him with his search. Confidently fighting every foe to come across him, Magus chases powers and strengths that could come to his aid in the search for Schala.

Background Info​

Janus was born to the King and Queen of a sectioned area of Getsugakure called Zeal, in the Land of the Moon. Unlike other villages and areas, Zeal is based on a monarchy rather than a system of Kages and advisers. Zeal is a land of people who used the power of the moon to harness unnatural amounts of chakra, rendering its shinobi to be capable of using high rank jutsus with ease. Those who choose to or don't have the ability to use chakra are highly frowned upon and even discriminated to a point where they are cast down to the poorer levels of the land the village laid upon. Being of royal blood, Janus and his older sister, Schala, had natural affinities for Jutsus, even to a point where they were coming up with their own jutsus at very young ages.

Unlike his sister, Janus was cold and quite distant, just like his mother. He was quite introverted, and his only true friends were Schala and his cat, Alfador. When his mother requested for Schala, Janus commented that she is not their mother anymore and became angry. Yet with this all, Schala gives Janus her amulet, saying it contains her prayers. If something were to happen to him, it would keep him safe. When Queen Zeal summoned Schala, Janus joined in the meeting along with the three Gurus.

Janus eventually went to Amegakure just after Hanzo's first confrontation with Nagato. Knowing his time is limited, Hanzo soon trained Janus into becoming a strong shinobi with a great talent with a Scythe. Janus headed towards Kirigakure after that, in hopes of being one of the seven swordsmen. Soon after Janus left, Pein slaughtered Hanzo and everyone connected to him except Janus, since Hanzo was the only one that knew of Janus' existence.

In Kirigakure, Janus changed his name to Magus, severing all connections from Hanzo other than the scythe he holds and the knowledge he obtained. Staying in the shadows and knowing something was wrong with the Mizukage, Magus agreed to help Zabuza stage a coup d'etat. After the failed assassination attempt, Magus fled with Zabuza, Haku and other followers, becoming a missing-nin.

Never being outside of Zeal, Magus asked Zabuza if he knew of the location of his Village. Zabuza remarked that he heard of such a place in Yugakure, in which Magus departed to. In Yugakure, Magus learned of a cult, Jashin, which sounded much like the teachings of Zeal in the way of how they harnessed power. In a meeting of Jashinists, Magus met a teenager of the same age as him, Hidan. Hidan was astonished by the way Magus was capable of using his scythe and asked if he could train him in the use of the weapon. Magus agreed and after a while, Hidan asked if Magus was going to undergo the experimentation, in which Magus disapproved of. As Hidan was about to undergo the experimentation, Magus prepared for departure, finding that out Yagakure isn't the village he was searching for, and left.
