Temple of Asunhna

The light spring breeze carries the scent of the blooming flowers around the temple, gifting it with a unique pleasant aroma. The pink flower blossoms of of the trees dance in the light breeze. The river flows near silently. So gentle it was almost transparent. Hidden within these peaceful wonders stood the ancient temple of Asuhna. This wonder of the past had been the home to countless generations of the same family, standing as a testament of the family's lineage. Though centuries old, the temple showed minimal wear and tear. Most of it was build of large ancient stones that all had a similar dull, white colour to them.

This ancient wonder had been lost to the world except for the few who had sworn allegiance to those that dwelled within. One small bridge led over the ancient river. Atop this bridge knelt a lone warrior. This warrior had short, wavy hair that was red in parts. For his height, he holds a slim physique with a slight muscle tone. His garb that of a traditional samurai, though black and grey. In front of him lay his unique weapon, the Wado Ichimonji. The sword has a pure-white hilt with a circular handguard. The sheath is painted white, and the hardening line is suguha or straight blade. Wado Ichimonji is a Shinogi Zukuri style Katana that has a traditional yet still stunning pure-white ito wrapped around a gray samegawa covering the tsuka (hilt), leaving a traditional diamond-shaped pattern. The end has a nice, simplistic kashira of the same colour as the tsuba. The tsuba, or crossguard, also conveys a harmony of simplicity: It consists of a rounded oval thick tsuba from which the blade goes through, in a nice metallic golden colour. To once again convey the beautiful simplicity of this blade, the colours of the edge are divided in perfect equality. The inner bo-hi is a deep black, while the outer ha, or edge, is a shining white. The blade curves slightly towards the end, with a stunning sharp tip that cuts through foes. The blade was a thing of pure beauty.

The man knelt with his eyes closed as he reached out, feeling the life and chakra of everything around him, a skill he developed where mastering the art of the balance between creation and life. He felt uneased. Two beings approached with considerable power, coming from the south side of the temple. These two were not of these lands and foreign to them. The man reached out with his mind to the being he was connected to. In the skies above, he felt her mind. The flaming spirit flew around, scouring the skies, looking for what her master sensed. Searching the forest to the south, she caught them in her sight. Without delay she flew back to the temple, landing on the temple out of sight of any approaching awaiting her master's orders. In her hand, she held a blade as black as night.

The man waited patiently on the bridge for those who approached to arrive. As they stepped close enough, he opened his eyes to cast his gaze upon those that dared trespass on these lands. His eyes first met with the sight of a man clad in a midnight black cloak. He held a calm demeanour though standing as though he commanded authority where he stood. His hair pitch black though his most defining trait the eyes a deep, rich purple. Was this a power akin to a doujutsu or a natural pigment? He'd have to beware of that one. Casting his gaze to the second intruder, a man clad in black robes with red decoration. Their hair long and slightly wild hanging around his head. He seemed more relaxed than his partner. They were both armed and their chakra was clearly on a level above the average shinobi.

"Good day. I'm afraid you're trespassing on the lands belonging to the lord of this manor. If you would be so kind as to take your leave, there's no need for any trouble. Though, should you refuse..." He placed his hand on the ornate blade before him, raising to his feet. "I'll have to insist on your depature, one way or another..." He spoke calmly but his intent was clear.

This unique blade binds to the wielder's spirit creating a connection between the two. Due to this connection, the user's spiritual techniques flow from the blade will have their damage increased by 20 (Ronin, AF, etc). With the blade connected to the user, as long as it's in the users hand, it is also connected to their chakra network, attuned to the flow of the users chakra. Should an external entity disrupt of change the flow of chakra, the blade will release a surge of chakra through the user, rejecting the foreign entities. This surge is a spiritual surge of 60 chakra and can only be used twice per battle, with three turns between uses.

With the blade being bound to a persons spirit, those with the ability to control the Atavistic Flames can use the sword to draw on more of their spirit to further enhance the power of these flames. Up to three times per battle, the sword can cause the user to expend 10 spiritual health points to increase the power of an Atavistic Flame Kenjutsu by 20 additional damage (Stacking with the swords bonus though not bypassing buff limits). This can be once once every 2 turns. Once used, the user will regain 5 spiritual health per turn for 2 turns.

His attire, a striking ensemble of black and red, seemed to blend seamlessly with the vibrant hues of the blossoms.

Akhwera, in stark contrast, exuded an aura of solemnity and wisdom. His gaze moved among the blossoms' delicate dance, ever watchful of the subtle nuances in the chakra that flowed through this sacred land. Here, the fusion of creation and life resulted in an exquisite harmony. His sleek attire, adorned with intricate patterns, seemed to resonate with the mystical energy of this place.

As Akhwera and Wei Wuxian strolled further along the ethereal path, the vibrant blossoms seemed to echo Wei's mischievous spirit. Wei couldn't resist the urge to provoke his companion with a sly grin.

"You know, Akhwera," he began, "I've heard legends about those who've mastered the art of being this serious. I've even read that, in some corners of the world, it's considered a rare and valuable treasure."

Wei's eyes twinkled with playful amusement as he continued, "I wonder if you've ever considered opening a school for aspiring champions of solemnity. Or perhaps a book club where we can read the most solemn literature under the shade of a particularly serious tree."

Akhwera's composed demeanor remained unchanged as he replied, "Wei, my friend, I've found that in the balance between creation and life, there's a time for solemnity and a time for revelry. These moments," he gestured to the enchanting surroundings, "are an ode to the latter."

As they continued their journey, the ethereal path led them to a small bridge, a graceful structure that served as a gateway to the temple. Here, standing guard with an aura of authority, was the temple's guardian, Magnus. This enigmatic figure would soon become a pivotal part of their extraordinary encounter with the sanctum of Asuhna.

Magnus, the temple's guardian, stood resolute before them, his bearing exuding authority and respect. He beckoned them to depart, reminding them of their status as trespassers on these sacred grounds. Wei, however, found the situation too intriguing to resist a touch of whimsy.

Turning to Akhwera, Wei whispered, "Ah, Akhwera, it seems we have the privilege of being under the watchful eye of our very own guardian."

As Magnus firmly articulated his expectations, Wei's grin grew broader. "Greetings to you, dear guardian," he quipped, his words ringing with mirth, "We were irresistibly drawn to the serenity of this place, akin to moths to a gentle flame. But if you insist on our swift departure, perhaps you'd be inclined to share some of the treasures and enigmas concealed within these ancient walls?"

In the presence of solemn authority, Wei's jesting curiosity remained unyielding. Akhwera, however, remained steadfast and prepared, his wisdom and strength awaiting the moment when they might be called upon to respond. The sanctuary of Asuhna had, in a brief span, transformed into a stage for mystery, laughter, and perhaps, the unveiling of deeper truths.

In another life, Magnus would feel the need to engage with them on a level beyond that of their station, alas this would not be the time. Striding next to him the polar opposite, the very existence of this being grinded against Magnus's very nerves like the scratching of a chalk board. Magnus's outward appearance was unchanged even though his patience wore thin quite abruptly. With his his warning passed, he awaited their departure.

How naive, referring to him as a mere guardian. A guardian was a mere fraction of his current responsibility to the nobility that remained within the temple. No doubt, he'd lay down his life in an instant to protect she who lived within. Though, he'd be sure to drag who ever dared threaten her to the depths of hell with him, torturing their souls for an eternity for their transgressions. His grip tightened around his blade. The thought of slicing the serpentine tongue from this creatures mouth for referring to the wonders of these lands as treasures. As though waiting for thieves to lay claim to the relics of this ancient family.

Magnus mind cast back to a time long ago, when he was but a boy. He'd looked up to his father, a man of pride and so protective of his family. Magnus could feel that it was like to have someone to rely on you in that way. His father stood a proud warrior without fear or hesitation in the face of danger when he came to protecting that which mattered most to him, his family. In the moments where Magnus remained as the one protecting the temple, these feelings bubbled within. A power like no other. The legends said that this was a curse of the Uchiha. That the power of their eyes was born of despair and betrayal. Though, for Magnus, his eyes was born of the power to protect what mattered most.

"I'd be more inclined to reward a monkey for making it so far into these lands, rather than to reward and arrogant insect who is too idiotic to know their place." He spoke as his eyes met the man with the unkempt hair. "At least a monkey would have a chance at learning the true value of what dwelt within." His eyes turned now to the man with the more respectable composure. "You'd learn well to keep better company. A fools tongue could cost you more than you can afford."

He slowly raised his blade in front of him, pointing between the duo now. As he did, his intentions were given form. Should they remain, it was at their own peril. If they did not remove themselves from this sacred land, Magnus would end their existence without a second thought. This emanated from his entire being, his intent to kill them. He was stronger than the two, this would be his final warning.

Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.

Wei Wuxian watched as the guardian of this place tightened his grip on his sword, not an action that the ever perceptive Swordsman would miss as he too was a swordsmen, this action of his clearly indicted his displeased mood which only caused Wei's mischievous grin to grow a bit wider, he enjoyed seeing the reactions of others, especially when they were of the uptight kind not knowing how to relax, of course Wei could not tell what part of his statements the guardian was agitated at but it mattered not, as a cultivator of the sword, the strong preying on the weak was normal, and seeking treasure and fortuitous encounters was the same, the relics here might be just what he needed to take his swordsmanship to the next level, or even the possibility to gain enlightenment towards the sword.

As Wei thought silently to himself, the man he formerly referred to as a guardian snapped back, Wei merely listened intently, nothing satisfied him more, he shrugged his shoulder with an uncaring attitude and a smile adorning his face as he replied back "I'm afraid even a monkey would grow bored of your company, choosing to leave before you could bore it to death" Wei Wuxian quipped "Truly a frog in a well if you believe a monkey would tolerate being here in the first place" it was true, Wei Wuxian could have a rather sharp tongue, however it was necessary in the world of cultivation, a lack of words could cause one to lose face, and whiles he did not care deeply about this, he did in fact watching all those previous elders faces turn red and purple from his words being unable to refute, Wei Wuxian continued of course "I use swords for toothpicks, universes as playgrounds , samsara as a lucky draw wheel and fate as a shower drain. Your mindless drivel doesn't work on me."

Akhwera watched on from the side, thinking seriously about what the guardian had said about keeping better company as he sighed inwardly, of course listening to Wei spout his nonsense he really did consider leaving right this moment before this fellows tongue dragged him into some unnecessary trouble, it was at the end of Wei's words and just before Akhwera could speak up that a pressure descended on them both, this pressure was very strong but not enough to have them freeze, it was to be noted that both Wei and Akhwera were strong in their own right, it did however cause a cold sweat to run down Akhwera's back for a moment before he quickly regained his composure, even Wei Wuxian's expression turned serious for a moment before regaining his usual cheeky smile, thinking someone with such power he would surely be able to gleam a thing or two from.

Akhwera was the first to respond to the killing intent, clenching his right hand into a fist and moving it thumb side facing his mouth as he awkwardly coughed, seemingly clearing his throat, "What company I keep.. Is more me to decide, not that I chose him in the first place we simply ended up coming into this place at the same time from different points it seems" Akhwera pointed out factually, "Although, displaying such killing intent so openly is asking for trouble" Akhwera's eyes narrowed as he channelled chakra in preparation for what may come.

Wei Wuxian was not nearly as bothered, in fact his voice came forward with a tinge of excitement "Displaying such killing intent can only come from those stained in blood, interesting... the guardian is not such a soft persimmon after all" Wei placed his hand over his sword and ducked his body down slightly taking the stance for Iaido.

"While I would like to explore and see what treasures this realm holds, I get the feeling exchanging a few pointers with you will be much more beneficial to my cultivation" Wei Wuxian quipped, clearly ready for a fight,

Akhwera watched on from the side, thinking seriously about what the guardian had said about keeping better company as he sighed inwardly, of course listening to Wei spout his nonsense he really did consider leaving right this moment before this fellows tongue dragged him into some unnecessary trouble, it was at the end of Wei's words and just before Akhwera could speak up that a pressure descended on them both, this pressure was very strong but not enough to have them freeze, it was to be noted that both Wei and Akhwera were strong in their own right, it did however cause a cold sweat to run down Akhwera's back for a moment before he quickly regained his composure, even Wei Wuxian's expression turned serious for a moment before regaining his usual cheeky smile, thinking someone with such power he would surely be able to gleam a thing or two from.

Akhwera was the first to respond to the killing intent, clenching his right hand into a fist and moving it thumb side facing his mouth as he awkwardly coughed, seemingly clearing his throat, "What company I keep.. Is more me to decide, not that I chose him in the first place we simply ended up coming into this place at the same time from different points it seems" Akhwera pointed out factually, "Although, displaying such killing intent so openly is asking for trouble" Akhwera's eyes narrowed as he channelled chakra in preparation for what may come.

Wei Wuxian was not nearly as bothered, in fact his voice came forward with a tinge of excitement "Displaying such killing intent can only come from those stained in blood, interesting... the guardian is not such a soft persimmon after all" Wei placed his hand over his sword and ducked his body down slightly taking the stance for Iaido.

"While I would like to explore and see what treasures this realm holds, I get the feeling exchanging a few pointers with you will be much more beneficial to my cultivation" Wei Wuxian quipped, clearly ready for a fight,

Magnus let out a small sigh, releasing the tension he felt in his body. He let go of the anger that swelled within him knowing it would only lead to mistakes like it had no many times before. It was amusing that they had the audacity to question his warning. They didn't understand what they were putting themselves through by not following his warnings. His eyes moved to the more composed of the two. The spoke so cluelessly of the situation that they had brought upon themselves. The killing intent, clearly a warning of the events that would transpire should they choose to follow their current path. Yet, here he stood as though he wasn't trespassing in these lands, an open provocation in itself. Magnus had clearly asked and told them to leave, if he didn't understand that them remaining was in fact causing the trouble in the first place, maybe he wasn't as intelligent as he liked to think.

In his mind, Magnus felt the burning sensation of anger as Bela's rage boiled. The remarks of the other didn't sit well with her. Bela's existence is the very embodiment of Magnus's rage and anger from the curse of being an Uchiha. He hadn't meant to, but these feelings boiled over and gave life to his guardian. She was a being truly devoted to him, but her mind, her emotions were so quick to rage and anger. Sometimes it led Magnus to question his own existence and what side of right and wrong he stood. Through their mental connection he sought to calm her. "His words are of a child who clearly hasn't learned respect or the cost of their words. Stay protecting the lady of the temple. I'll handle these two. He'd regret asking for a lesson such as this." A small smile crossed Magnus's face as he knew what was to come.

"Magus, it would do you well to reassess your situation before making clueless remarks. You enter a foreign land, remain when asked to leave and do so with disrespectful company who makes absurd requests. Then you have the audacity to call a warning 'asking for trouble'". Magnus let out a quiet mocking laugh. "For all your bravado, you have a lot to learn." Magnus now turned to look at the troublemaker. "As for you... you think calling me blood stained is something I shouldn't be proud of?" Magnus's tone changed at this. "My life is stained with blood, with loss, with horrors like you've never seen. My life is a curse bound by hate, that demands blood. You think that killing intent was a threat? Adorable. It was a warning of what's to come." His eyes met Wei's. "A few pointers? Of course.... how about a lesson in tragedy?"....

In that moment, the pain and suffering of Magnus's life took form in his eyes. The irises darkened becoming a blood red and black spots spiralled to form the three tomoe sharingan (passive). These blood red eyes met the eyes of Wei and in that moment he was a captive to Magnus's will. With this connection, Wei was at Magnus's mercy.

Wei was bound in an illusion, where he would find himself in a dojo. He was kneeling looking up at a figure. This figure dressed as a dojo sensei. A blade pinned them to the wall as blood poured from the wound. Wei would feel the temperature of the room drop as he'd feel water on his body like sweat. His sense of touch would be removed paralysing him in place. He would be forced to see the world from Magnus's perspective. From here the dojo around him would erupt in a torrent of wild fire consuming all. The flickering flames roared so load it would drown out all sound as the flames consumed Wei where he was bound.

One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion

Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Sharingan. It has also been shown to be performed through the Sharingan's higher evolutions: the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Sharingan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being difficult to break in comparison due to the sinister chakra powering them. When utilized through the Mangekyo Sharingan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal an additional 40 damage. However, the time dilation effects and similar effects/ability of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. When used through the EMS, these illusions deal an addition 50 damage. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. Controlling a target's abilities in limited to Summoning and other none Creation/Ninja entities. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan can forcibly controls Basic and Ancient Summoning's actions as long as they sustain this technique. MS can affect up to Mythical Contracts while EMS can effect even Legendary Summonings. This control is limited to the ability to control their physical movements with limited access to their ninjutsu, using only skills related to the Summoning itself.

In the event of Bijuu, Mangekyo Sharingan users are able to use their MS to cast powerful enough Genjutsu that even Tailed Beasts cannot break their hosts from it, being ensnarled as well. These Genjutsu can also seize control of a Tailed Beast by temporarily severing its connection to the host without the need for eye contact. If the Jinchuriki has not entered any Chakra Shroud state or higher, the user can cast a powerful Genjutsu that severs their connection and prevents access to the Bijuu as well as any of it's skills for 3 turns. Should a Chakra Shroud or Incomplete Jinchuriki transformation occur, the user is capable of preventing full access to it's Bijuu Skills for 3 turns by suppressing it. This presents itself in an inability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb variants, a Bijuu Skill such as Sand or Coral as well as access higher transformations. Should the user have EMS, this control is extended to blocking access for double the time and should a Complete Transformation occur, the user is capable of suppressing it's form and ending the Transformation in it's entirety and forces the health drawbacks to trigger as well as a reduced max health and chakra by 25% from fatigue. However, Bijuu Suppression can only be done by sustaining the technique at the cost of 2 moves per turn and prevents Sharingan Genjutsu for 5 turns.
Note: While powerful, the effects of Sharingan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only.
Note: When used in the NW, this can be used to tame a wild Tailed Beast and allow the user to summon it in an enraged state for 4 turns, only being capable of using Sharingan and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu during this time, Ninjutsu being barred while controlling the target. This beast is summoned at max powers and has access to it's Skills and one Bijuu Pathway, determined through Official Roll in the NRP Discord. This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World.

His aura then swiftly blazed with a dark energy, his eyes glowed with a bloody killing intent whiles his ability heightened.

The Rōnin’s Spiritual Kenjutsu are enhanced by 30 additional damage, and they become able to move three times faster than their base speed. The man's gaze changed, revealing the fabled Sharingan, and in the same breath, Wei became unsettlingly silent. It was as if a storm was brewing beneath the surface, and just as Akhwera observed, a malevolent energy awakened within Wei, releasing him from his confines.

In that pivotal moment, Akhwera's instinctual response was swift and precise. He executed a single, practiced hand seal, and with an almost mystical invocation, a multitude of colossal tentacles burst forth from the watery depths below. The bridge itself trembled and fractured as these immense appendages rose to the surface. In a symphony of force, they coiled around the Guardian, a vice-like grip squeezing the life from his very being.

In addition to the way this technique functions, it can be utilized in a second way, it can be placed upon a technique as a sort of dormant part of it, which will be activated when there is a foreign chakra source that is within short-range of the said water source or if they are touching it. Ciri's View

Ciri, oblivious to the on goings outside the temple grounds, continues her daily training, just as her master Magnus instructed. Todays lesson was in Earth chakra control. She has been struggling particularly with her control of chakra leaving her feeling dejected lamenting on her own shortcomings she mutters to herself,

"Why can't I just be like him... No, I just need to remain calm and concentrate on my chakra, just like master taught me."

Ciri takes a deep, calming breath and begins to channel a small amount of her chakra into the ground to try to get a better understanding of the way earth chakra flows through nature.

...She feels nothing...

In desperation she extends her chakras reach trying to attune her earth chakra to the ground beneath her feet.

To no avail.

Once again, nothing!

"How many times must I repeat this and fail?!" She all but shouts,

Her calm demeaner slipping, frustrated at her own ineptness, she lets loose a pulse of earth chakra that saturates the earth and bleeds out to surround the temple in the process, inadvertently dislodging the terrain surrounding the temple, a huge 20 meter deep trench opens up at the temple bridge with a loud rumbling sound.

Magnus's View

Magnus could feel and see the flow of chakra from his foes. He watched as they found a way to save themselves from the nightmares that haunted him. The skill used was clearly a spiritual ability. What a unique ability. The last time Magnus had seen or felt anything like this, it had been against that sword wielder that came at him with such power and ferocity, it took both himself and Bela to subdue them. If this one had power akin to them, this might prove someone of a challenge. Though the level he was showing didn't quite match up in their current state. As he could clearly see the arrogant one breaking from his illusion he could sense the build up of chakra in the water below. It would seem the magus was trying to take advantage of the situation by weaponizing the calm river that ran through these lands. Magnus once again felt himself angered by the disrespect of these insolent fools who had no sense of decency when it came to treating these majestic lands with a sense of care.

He'd have acted upon this, but as the water began to form and his illusion was broken, he'd find himself falling through the air. The ground all around them rapidly dropped 20m in every direction, this would causes the water below to drop, but there would be a slight delay for Magnus as the bridge broke causing Magnus to actually fall through the air. The two intruders would rapidly drop with their feet intact with the ground and it would create a slight delay making a greater distance between the water and Magnus creating an opening as he figured out what was actually going on.

Bela's View

Rage, pure rage. It was as though steam was bursting from her ears. Through her connection with Magnus she could feel it. Magnus senses the chakra in the earth perceiving it as Bela watched through their linked minds. Magnus would realise the chakra within is that of Ciri's, though he'd be confused as to why. Bela on the other hand would be consumed by rage. "God damn... of all the f*cking times to try this ********, she has to pick when master is dealing with these sh*ts.... CIRIIIIIIII!!!!" She shouted in rage, barging down the stairs to go and berate the practising shinobi.

As she huffed and puffed, stomping down the stairs she released he chakra into the air below her master. She gathered the carbon in the air to create a platform for him to stand on and in a way to block the water from attacking her master.

For example the user could create a kunai of carbon and launch it at their opponent. The larger the object, the higher the rank. For objects larger, than the user they will need to be A rank. To use the A rank version and higher, the user will need to perform 1 handseal. This can also be used to reshape current carbon the user controls which they can use to attack with again, in a similar way to earth release but on a unique level. Due to the control required, the user is not able to form microscopic carbon, the carbon they gather will be around the same size of a small pebble and so always visible to normal ninja. B rank and below carbon structures can be made with arm movements or a single handseal. A rank can only be used once per turn. S rank can be used 3 times per battle, with two turns in between uses and no carbon above B rank in following turn.

At the battle field, as Magnus began to fall, a platform of carbon formed allowing to brace himself in the chaos. In this moment he realised Ciri had probably chosen the worst possible time to practice some of the techniques he'd taught her. Not only that but she clearly had no control over what she was doing. In his mind, he mentally performed a facepalm. He could just imagine that annoying nickname echoing in his mind 'Maggyyyyyy'. It sent shivers through his body. Though with the ground dropping and he footing secured (in the same timeframe), Magnus would go on the assault. Kicking off the platform to flip back to the top of the pit (ff dodge), he would perform a series of handseals. With this he would turn everything in the bottom of the pit to a swamp of mud. The sides of the pit would come washing down as a mud on his foes, trapping them in the earthen grave. He landed on top of the pit, looking down as the platform of carbon fell to the depths and out of range of the water that had been completely blocked.

The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a thick, newer impossible to move in swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
Note: A rank use can extend up to mid range and will cause a target to become engulfed after one turn and suffocate after taking 60 damage per turn.

Her calm demeaner slipping, frustrated at her own ineptness, she lets loose a pulse of earth chakra that saturates the earth and bleeds out to surround the temple in the process, inadvertently dislodging the terrain surrounding the temple, a huge 20 meter deep trench opens up at the temple bridge with a loud rumbling sound.

Wei Wuxian's View

Wei Wuxian's focus was set on the guardian, Wei was uniquely in tune with his spiritual energy, capable of sensing the spiritual energy of others within a certain range, a skill developed through cultivation as he progressed through the stages, as such whiles his attention was focused on Magnus, he took note of the spiritual energies of those outside his view, as long as they didn't intervene he cared not, however fate was an unusual thing, a pulse of spiritual energy surged outwards, whiles Wei could sense the spiritual energy surge out, he by no means knew of its intentions, he could tell however that it seemed to have come from the individual further in the back, the floor beneath the 3 of them suddenly began to sink, falling fast, Wei's gaze moved to take a quick glance at the changing terrain out of curiosity and intrigue before returning his gaze back to the Guardian which would now be slightly above him as he fell from the bridge, judging from this guardians reaction it was clear he also did not expect this outcome, this caused Wei's already grinning face to expand further as he taunted, "Even your own people are trying to get rid of you now! what have you put them through" *Sigh~* Wei Sighed Feigning compassion for the companions this guardian presided over.

Wei Wuxian was largely unbothered by this progression of events, his red eyes fixed upon Magnus, his hand still resting upon the hilt of his sword, he could sense the gathering of more spiritual energy collating beneath Magnus, forming a platform of as unknown grain like sand (Carbon), the guardian swiftly used this platform, leaping off onto the side of the wall, mud began to cascade down the walls and the earth beneath their feet began to change into a sticky consistency as both he and Akhwera began to sink Wei's sword swiftly left its sheathe as he channelled it full of natural energy, Wei's sword stabbed into the mud and earth below him, releasing a surge of Senjutsu which flooded the technique and earth below him, causing the mud his foe had used to shatter in a white light like glass, the earth beneath that was dropping swiftly came to a halt as it was overcome by the natural energy, "Lets see how the guardian responds shall we" Wei's smile never fading.

Wei's reactions were above those of his companions, this was largely due to the sensory capabilities he possessed and his mindset, of course his actions triggered his temporary companion to move in tune with Wei's actions.

Following this Wei decided it would be best to unleash more of his cultivation base, thoroughly improving his capabilities as energy engulfed him, this energy was not obvious to most but it would be clear to those who were sensitive to energy of any kind and his adversary seemed just like the type, it would surely not go unnoticed but Wei was also in belief that for this opponent he needed to display his current full ability.

( Dokkōdō: Shiraha Nagashi ) - The Alone Way: White Blade Flow

By releasing their chakra into their armor, Samurai infuse their armor with special properties, protecting against energy based attacks up to 10 damage, and physical jutsu of 20 damage and lower. This works by creating an invisible overshield of chakra around the Samurai’s body, using their chakra to augment their armor to help protect them. Due to the spiritual nature of this technique, harmonizing the Samurai’s life energies with their armor, and bringing the user’s Bushidō to the forefront of their mind, preventing Genjutsu of up to A rank from targeting them. This increase of chakra also augments their physical prowess, tripling their speed and granting a large increase to Kenjutsu and Samurai jutsu. However, upon ending, the Samurai is unable to use Iado and S rank and higher Samurai jutsu that turn and next due to fatigue as well as only two jutsu the turn it ends.
Note: This jutsu lasts 5 turns each use and is capable of being used 3 times.

Ahkwera's View

As Akhwera's world suddenly dropped beneath him, he felt the ground give way like an elevator descending into the earth's abyss. His feet retained their grip even as his gaze shifted upward, witnessing the unmistakable surprise etched across the face of the Guardian, Magnus. The bridge they both stood upon crumbled and plummeted, claiming Magnus as its unwilling passenger. To Akhwera's astonishment, a platform constructed of carbon emerged from the earth with impeccable timing, preventing the Guardian's fall to a dire fate.

During those fleeting moments of chaos, Akhwera couldn't help but wonder if unseen eyes were observing their every move. It was as if the ground itself held secrets or had taken a life of its own. However, his pondering was abruptly halted as Wei's sudden actions and aloof attitude played out before his eyes. With his blade unsheathed and held at the ready, Wei unleashed a devastating storm of energy beneath him– a force familiar to Akhwera – directed squarely at the technique Magnus had used against them. The intent was clear: to restore their footing and apparently annoy the guardian to no end.

A pulse of realization surged through Akhwera, snapping him back to action. He clapped his hands together, a surge of chakra gathered at his fingertips. Simultaneously, a barrage of razor-sharp spikes forged from obsidian-hued powder burst forth from the pit's edge (Same Timeframe as Wei's slash). Their path was clear – to transfix Magnus, tearing through his form with unforgiving precision before culminating in a deafening explosion that unleashed shockwaves and a tempest of soil in all directions.

Kayakuton: Kono burō | Gunpowder: Blow This

Description: The most rudimentary technique of the element. By focusing Gunpowder chakra throughout their body, into the surrounding ground, the user is able to create tools and constructs made of Gunpowder. These can range from kunais to full length swords and spears for close combat. It may also include different traps such as rising gunpowder from beneath the enemy similarly to the water imprisonment technique. This also includes pillars, walls and other complex constructs. Whenever the user is in physical contact with his creations, he can at will make it change its shape and form; from a sword to a spear or a pillar to an orb etc. (this does not include rank of the jutsu which remains the same no matter what the technique morphs into). The techniques vary in size and power depending on the amount of chakra utilized, where the S-rank version of this technique allows someone to make jutsus as big as the canon ‘Destructive Earth Rising Pillars’. However when these constructs come into contact with any form of fire or an element that can create heat or a flame, these constructs explode immediately. The user can at will cause a weapon in his hand or any construct on the field, which he has made through this jutsu, to immediately explode (costing 5 chakra). The user can make multiple objects but the power is divided between them, for example if the user makes two swords with the A rank use, each sword will be B rank in power.

When these constructs explode, with the explosive power of gunpowder, the release shockwaves around proportional to the size of the technique that was detonated. These shockwaves contain no chakra and are just a result of the detonation, carrying the same rank as the jutsu used. Techniques B rank and below release a shockwave 5m around the gunpowder. A ranks release an shockwave up to 10m around the blast. S ranks and above release a blast 15m around the explosion.Should the user create an A rank construct, when it's detonated but the user or another means, the blast will release a shockwave 10m around, which is a double edge blade, as the user will be struck if within range.

- S-rank versions can be used 3 times per match. With 2 turns between uses. No gunpowder above A rank in the following turn. A-rank can be used 4 times per battle.

This increase of chakra also augments their physical prowess, tripling their speed and granting a large increase to Kenjutsu and Samurai jutsu. However, upon ending, the Samurai is unable to use Iado and S rank and higher Samurai jutsu that turn and next due to fatigue as well as only two jutsu the turn it ends.

Ahkwera's View

As Akhwera's world suddenly dropped beneath him, he felt the ground give way like an elevator descending into the earth's abyss. His feet retained their grip even as his gaze shifted upward, witnessing the unmistakable surprise etched across the face of the Guardian, Magnus. The bridge they both stood upon crumbled and plummeted, claiming Magnus as its unwilling passenger. To Akhwera's astonishment, a platform constructed of carbon emerged from the earth with impeccable timing, preventing the Guardian's fall to a dire fate.

During those fleeting moments of chaos, Akhwera couldn't help but wonder if unseen eyes were observing their every move. It was as if the ground itself held secrets or had taken a life of its own. However, his pondering was abruptly halted as Wei's sudden actions and aloof attitude played out before his eyes. With his blade unsheathed and held at the ready, Wei unleashed a devastating storm of energy beneath him– a force familiar to Akhwera – directed squarely at the technique Magnus had used against them. The intent was clear: to restore their footing and apparently annoy the guardian to no end.

A pulse of realization surged through Akhwera, snapping him back to action. He clapped his hands together, a surge of chakra gathered at his fingertips. Simultaneously, a barrage of razor-sharp spikes forged from obsidian-hued powder burst forth from the pit's edge (Same Timeframe as Wei's slash). Their path was clear – to transfix Magnus, tearing through his form with unforgiving precision before culminating in a deafening explosion that unleashed shockwaves and a tempest of soil in all directions.

Kayakuton: Kono burō | Gunpowder: Blow This

Description: The most rudimentary technique of the element. By focusing Gunpowder chakra throughout their body, into the surrounding ground, the user is able to create tools and constructs made of Gunpowder. These can range from kunais to full length swords and spears for close combat. It may also include different traps such as rising gunpowder from beneath the enemy similarly to the water imprisonment technique. This also includes pillars, walls and other complex constructs. Whenever the user is in physical contact with his creations, he can at will make it change its shape and form; from a sword to a spear or a pillar to an orb etc. (this does not include rank of the jutsu which remains the same no matter what the technique morphs into). The techniques vary in size and power depending on the amount of chakra utilized, where the S-rank version of this technique allows someone to make jutsus as big as the canon ‘Destructive Earth Rising Pillars’. However when these constructs come into contact with any form of fire or an element that can create heat or a flame, these constructs explode immediately. The user can at will cause a weapon in his hand or any construct on the field, which he has made through this jutsu, to immediately explode (costing 5 chakra). The user can make multiple objects but the power is divided between them, for example if the user makes two swords with the A rank use, each sword will be B rank in power.

When these constructs explode, with the explosive power of gunpowder, the release shockwaves around proportional to the size of the technique that was detonated. These shockwaves contain no chakra and are just a result of the detonation, carrying the same rank as the jutsu used. Techniques B rank and below release a shockwave 5m around the gunpowder. A ranks release an shockwave up to 10m around the blast. S ranks and above release a blast 15m around the explosion.Should the user create an A rank construct, when it's detonated but the user or another means, the blast will release a shockwave 10m around, which is a double edge blade, as the user will be struck if within range.

- S-rank versions can be used 3 times per match. With 2 turns between uses. No gunpowder above A rank in the following turn. A-rank can be used 4 times per battle.
- C-rank can be done with hand gestures. B-ranks require a single hand seal. A-ranks require 2 hand seals. S-ranks require 3 handseals.

Magnus's View

It would seem as though Bela's rage storming through the temple was enough to prevent the lady of the manor from causing more chaos for the time being. Through their connection, Magnus asked Bela to not hurt her, though all he got in return was a burning rage through their connection. With his sharingan he could clearly see the one wielding the blade stab the swamp. In that moment, they seemed to disrupt the flow of chakra within the swamp. Everything they were aiming to do was tied to that blade it seemed. So of the two, they were the close combat orientated one. If Magnus was correct, that would make the Magus the ranged support.

They had tried to attack from below with the water, and now from around him spikes of a substance. Black in nature, a power compact. He'd seen this before. Magnus could clearly wipe out this substance and decimate his foes in an instant. That wouldn't be a problem. Though if this was the substance he suspected, the power he'd unleash with the blast would wipe out everything around including the temple... Bela... Ciri...

His reactions nigh on unparalleled, he had the chance to match their power, though he couldn't. As a guardian, it was his duty beyond all to protect the lady of the manor. Although Bela felt she was watching over him, he'd never allow any harm to come to them. With a rapid series of hand seals, Magnus unleashed his chakra at a specific location. The spikes made their mark, stabbing him from multiple directions before detonating in a devastating eruption that would wipe out a large chunk of the surrounding area. Rocks launched in all directions, smoke, dust and fire consuming all around....

Bela's View

For such a useless shinobi, how was this girl so fast?! Bela raced after Ciri, passing over the top of the temple now knowing her master was fighting out in front. A feeling gripped her forcing her to stop. What was this? She hadn't felt this since the day she was brought into the world. That strong emotion, a burning emotion that consumed her master. Why now? She cast her eyes out to the front of the temple where the pit was, her master their in the air before....

"Masterrrrr!!!!"

Bela screaming as though physically hurt by what unfolded before her. She could see it from where she stood and through the connection to her master. The spikes stabbed him from all around. She went to rush to her master. The air in front of the temple almost solidified as a wall of a thin grey material formed in front of it. She heard the blast, she felt the tremors but through her connection with her master she knew it's true power.

Tears began to run down her face as she rushed to the edge of the temple, spreading her wings, flying to go over the wall to get to her master. He'd forsaken his own well being to protect them, to protect her. He risked his own life for this temple every day. He could of easily handled these intruders if he wasn't trying to protect them. Guild and rage consumed every fibre of her body as she raced towards her master. She HAD to save him.

What actually happened

In the final moments before the blast, Magnus realised anything he'd do would put Ciri and Bela in harms way. As a guardian it was something he couldn't bring himself to do. Instead, he used his skills to gather the carbon in their air to form a wall of solid carbon, reinforcing it to be Lonsdaleite, one of it's hardest forms. Through this he created the perfect barrier to protect those he cared about at the cost of his own health.

(Taibu kurokongouseki no jutsu ) Greater Carbon technique

Description: This is the basic application of carbon release where the user will gather carbon in the air, the ground or create it from their own chakra (spitting it out ect) to form structures of carbon. This can be anything from weapons, to walls, to spikes, domes, anything inanimate which they can use as projectiles as well. For example the user could create a kunai of carbon and launch it at their opponent. The larger the object, the higher the rank. For objects larger, than the user they will need to be A rank. To use the A rank version and higher, the user will need to perform 1 handseal. This can also be used to reshape current carbon the user controls which they can use to attack with again, in a similar way to earth release but on a unique level. Due to the control required, the user is not able to form microscopic carbon, the carbon they gather will be around the same size of a small pebble and so always visible to normal ninja. B rank and below carbon structures can be made with arm movements or a single handseal. A rank can only be used once per turn. S rank can be used 3 times per battle, with two turns in between uses and no carbon above B rank in following turn.

(Carbon Transmutation | Tanso henkan)

Description: This is a passive jutsu used in the same time as a carbon cj. This outlines what allotropes of carbon is formed and the effect it carries due to that allotropes. Carbon has several allotropes, or different forms in which it can exist. These allotropes include graphite and diamond, which have very different properties. As outlined within the element the following can be made with the following effects:

Graphite is the only non-metal element that is a good conductor of electricity. In RP terms, this allows carbon that is formed as graphite to conduct electricity. Forming it in this way will remove it's weakness to lightning, allowing it to play on neutral terms to lightning based elements. Because it is a solid material, it is known as a dry lubricant. This is useful in applications where “wet” lubricants, such as oil, cannot be used. This allows the user to make carbon sticky and to stick to an object or person.

Lonsdaleite, also called hexagonal diamond, has been widely used as a marker of asteroidal impacts. It is thought to play a central role during the graphite-to-diamond transformation, and calculations suggest that it possesses mechanical properties superior to diamond. This being one of the hardest forms of carbon increases the damage and defensive capabilities of carbon by +1 rank or +20 damage to S ranks and above.

Carbon Nanotubes: CNTs can act as antennas for radios and other electromagnetic devices. Conductive CNTs are used in brushes for commercial electric motors. They replace traditional carbon black. The nanotubes improve electrical and thermal conductivity because they stretch through the plastic matrix of the brush. Carbon created with this form releases signals from it, interfering with any technology. These waves are released short range around the carbon (5m). This essentially prevents any technology from working within range of the carbon.

Note: This is a passive technique applied to a carbon jutsu just altering it's structure as it forms as outlined within the element

Revelations

The blast devastated the area, casting rock and dust everywhere falling down into the pit below. From the smoke, a dark silhouette can be seen, dropping down into the pit. Something was falling, someone was falling. Out of the smoke, the figure of Magnus is dropping to the ground below, head first. There is no movement from him as he falls. His body about to crash, lifelessly into the ground below.

His body flickers with an aura of dancing flames as in an instant his body flips landing on one knee. His left knee on the ground. His left hand bracing him. His right hand still gripping the Wado Ichimonji. His will to survive blazed around his entire body. He looked up to his foes as his eyes spiralled once more. The three tomoe spiralling like shuriken taking the form that served as a reminder of the pain from his past: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

"You'll... pay.... for that...!"

His anger reflected in his eyes and burning aura.

(Ishi no Ikinobiru: Taika) – Will to Survive: Blaze

Description: Will to Survive is an empowered state of spirit and soul, strengthening the user on multiple combat dimensions. The potency of the mode is divided between three different levels depending on the user’s mastery over their Atavistic Flame. Entering this form is comparatively complicated to Sage Mode even though the modes are similar in functionality. Atavistic Flame is recognized as humanity’s collective will to persevere; because of this it is actually optimal to activate the Will to Survive when the user is at their weakest, rather than at their strongest as is with Sage Mode. Upon activation Blaze will take the user’s missing Health Points from their maximum and multiply that value by 6. This value represents the user’s total reserves from the use of Atavistic Flame techniques and the mode’s sustainment. The mode is deactivated once the user has expended these reserves. While active the user becomes resistant to all sources of damage, reducing them by 25 points. The user becomes able to passively sense sources of life around their position with enhanced tracking, reflexes, perception, and speed by x3. Their usage of Atavistic Flame techniques is enhanced further, strengthening them by an additional 30 damage. The user’s body will dance with flames flickering from their skin, with embers raging off of it as they dance outward. Their sclera shift toward a brilliant yellow. While active the user regenerates their missing Health Points at a rate of 40 per turn, applying to both physical and spiritual damage.
Note: Atavistic techniques used in this mode still inflict recoil damage if they do by default. Atavistic effective Chakra value is reduced from the total mode's resources while in use.
Note: While active the user does not suffer from Health Fatigue, spiritual or physical, at all.
Note: Usable only by Masters and Grandmasters of Atavistic Flame. Blaze can be used twice per battle. Masters and Grandmasters can use a third activation on their Hollow Flame.

( Doujutsu: Eien no Mangekyou Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye - Passive

Description: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning " Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the final step in the evolutionary state of the Sharingan. While Mangekyo Sharingan is but an imperfect Dojutsu, unable to sustain and keep its own power, weakening with each use, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan brings control and balance to the power wielded. By merging the users own MS with that of his sibling, the use is able to awaken the EMS. The EMS grants the user the same abilities granted by MS but to unsurpassed levels. While granting the user the ability to perceive the world with increadible insight, it also grants the user the ability to see through S-Rank visual illusions and track the movement speed of almost anything, perfecting the already amazing abilities of the standard MS, like casting Genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as a line of sight to the target is available. A unique feat however, is that once the user awakens EMS, he loses access to his normal MS, transitioning from 3T form to EMS directly. While MS damages the user as time passes and severely tires and drains the user as its used, the EMS doesn't. The user can keep it active without losing his eyesight or damaging himself and can use the normal MS techniques with no activation reduction or drawbacks. Its true that the chakra cost is higher, but the user will feel little to no effect in his stamina and energy. Through his EMS, Madara gained the ability to control Tailed Beasts by forcefully using his sharingan genjutsu/mind manipulation abilities to take control of the Bijuu and temporarily sever its connection to the host. If the Jinchuriki is in normal form or entering one of the transformations, it's blocked from transforming for 3 turns. If it's in incomplete form, it's forced back into normal form and left unable to access his bijuu for 3 turns and if its in complete form, the user gains control over the bijuu, manipulating its movements/actions completely for 2 turns or until the complete form ends (whatever comes first), leaving the host unable to acess his bijuu for 3 turns.
Note: Only usable by bios with EMS after meeting the necessary requirements.
Note: User needs to have activated his 3T Sharingan beforehand
Note: Once activated, lasts 10 turns per use and once the user has held the ability for 4 months, can be done passively, with no move cost.

Wei Wuxian's View

Wei Wuxian watched as the guardian valiantly took the attack head on, not that he was incapable of defending but more so that he chose to defend his comrades, this caused a genuine heartfelt smile to appear on Wei's face, this one action showed his true character, whiles he was cold on the surface it was clear that he cared for those around him, Unfortunately Wei was all too familiar with the truth of the world, this reigned true whether it was the cultivation world or the ninja world or some distant world elsewhere, the truth was always the same, as Wei thought to himself, events continued to unfold as the area broke down around them, he could feel the spiritual energy within his opponent begin to flare wildly as he almost seemed to ignite in a burst of power and unyielding rage, his eyes spiralled into an unfamiliar pattern, these eyes seemed to radiate a powerful feeling, whether this was just a feeling Wei got or if it was true was another story.

Wei decided it was time to face his opponent wholeheartedly, he gripped his swords hilt as he bolted towards Magnus at high speeds empowered by his Bushido, as he approached Magnus, a flash of light was all an outsider would see as Wei drew his blade once again as he passed the guardian appearing on the other side, his speed incredibly swift, whiles not his strongest attack, it was certainly one of his most seamless and fastest.

It was at this moment that Akhwera summoned his companions in a plume of smoke revealing two old frogs who seemed to be on very close terms with Akhwera, who obviously had his own plans.

Akhwera's View

As Akhwera stood in the pit, the atmosphere charged with tension and the promise of battle, his focus was riveted on the torrential release of black powder that erupted with catastrophic force. The obsidian cloud unfurled in an expanding maelstrom of devastation, obliterating the side of the pit facing the temple. But there, as if defying the full brunt of the cataclysmic display, a resilient barrier materialized, shielding the temple from the worst of the onslaught. The wall absorbed the savage assault, preventing damage to the sacred structure and preserving its sanctity.

In the midst of this awe-inspiring spectacle, Akhwera's attention pivoted to a sight that left him momentarily awestruck. The Guardian Magnus, his adversary in this perilous encounter, plummeted from above and into the pit. For an instant, it appeared as if Magnus would crash mercilessly into the pit's floor. But then, with a grace that belied the force of his descent, Magnus landed firmly and deftly in the pit, equidistant from both Akhwera and his trusted comrade, Wei.

As Akhwera locked his gaze onto the Guardian Magnus, his hands still pressed together, his heart quickened with a mix of anticipation and unease. The sight before him was as mesmerizing as it was disconcerting. Magnus, surrounded by a mesmerizing aura of dancing orange flames, brandished his blade with an air of undeniable power and resolve. Yet it wasn't the flames that sent shivers down Akhwera's spine; it was the Guardian's eyes that stirred a deep sense of foreboding.

In a moment that felt like an eternity, Magnus's eyes underwent a profound transformation. They shifted, revealing a fathomless abyss that pulled at the very fabric of reality. The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan blazed to life in front of them, its hypnotic pattern spiraling into existence like an enigmatic portal to forbidden knowledge. Akhwera felt a weighty presence within those eyes, and the encounter with this unearthly power left him with a sense that the true battle was about to begin.

"Come and make me, Guardian. I'm not going anywhere."

Akhwera's attention snapped to Wei's sudden and decisive action. In an instant, Wei's hand tightened around his sword's hilt, and he darted forward at astonishing speed, all in a swift, fluid motion. In the blink of an eye, he drew his blade and passed Magnus, leaving only a fleeting glimmer of light in his wake. The swiftness and seamlessness of Wei's attack left Akhwera momentarily awestruck, a testament to the remarkable speed and precision of this sudden assault.

With unwavering focus, Akhwera's hand met the ground, causing a cloud of smoke to envelope him, evoking the presence of the two sagely toads, Ma and Pa. These amphibious mentors, perched upon his shoulders, radiated an air of ancient wisdom and power. As they settled into their positions, Akhwera closed his eyes and drew upon the essence of nature itself. His transformation into Sage Mode was marked by a profound change in his appearance and aura. His eyes, once ordinary, now glowed with an ethereal intensity, and the wrinkles on his forehead deepened, hinting at the age-old wisdom he had unlocked. His entire being was enveloped in a palpable shroud of natural energy, rendering him a formidable force to be reckoned with.

"This Guardian is no pushover, Ma, Pa. His Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is a real challenge."

Ma: "Akhwera, we've been through the wringer with you. We know what we're up against. We got your back."

Pa: "You've honed your Sage Mode, Akhwera. Let's show this Guardian the power of the natural world."

As Ma and Pa's words of encouragement still resonated in his mind, Akhwera emerged from the dissipating smoke screen like a force of nature. His determined gaze locked onto the Guardian Magnus, and with a burst of incredible speed, he closed the distance between them in an instant.

With a fierce battle cry, Akhwera outstretched his hand, forming a gargantuan Rasengan that crackled with the raw power of natural energy. The spiraling vortex of chakra seemed to swallow the very essence of the surroundings. He unleashed the devastating attack upon Magnus, the Guardian, with the intent to obliterate his formidable opponent.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Nidaisengama ) Summoning Technique: The Two Great Sage Toads

Description: One of the elder leaders of the Toads of Myobokuzan, Fukasaku (also known as Pa) is a small toad (somewhat in contrast with the fact that he's older and more powerful than the gigantic Gamabunta) who serves as the main teacher of Sage techniques to Naruto and Jiraya. Possessing a keen intellect, he is a master strategist and an experienced fighter. Shima (also known as Ma) is his wife and acts as his battle partner but also one of the elder leaders in the clan as well. Capable and powerful, Shima matches Fukasaku's battle prowess and share most of his abilities. Both are capable of using Frog Katas and gathering natural energy to temporarily boost their physical strength (if they aren't merged with the user). Both can perform ninjutsu and use Senjutsu Techniques and while Fukasaku can use up to S-Rank Water and Wind techniques, Shima can use up to S-Rank Fire and Wind techniques. Both can use oil techniques, a trait shared amongst most Toads, and some unique techniques known only to toads. Ma and Pa are the only toads that can merge with the user to gather natural energy and transfer it to him, enabling the user to keep sage mode active as long as the Amphibian Mode is kept. The user can summon one or the other, once per battle for each. However, if the user wants to summon both in the same battle, he needs to gather chakra for one turn before they are summoned (the user does the summoning technique and waits one turn for the summoning to be complete, keeping his hands together as he gathers enough chakra to perform the summon). They seem to be constantly infused with natural energy or their sage mode is incredibly durable though they haven't shown the same type of sensory awareness as ninja sage mode users.

Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be moulded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and can heal (for 10 damage per turn) for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception and reflexes are enhanced by x3. Their strength increases, empowering Taijutsu techniques and Ninjutsu by +30. Additionally, Genjutsu cast by the user are empowered requiring the opponent to use Genjutsu release, of one rank higher than what is normally required. Lastly, the user gains access to toad anatomy, Sage Art: Frog Kata and other physical feats granted by Sage mode.
Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again. Once per battle, the user is able to instantly activate Sage mode, with 10% of their maximum chakra reserve as Senjutsu Chakra.
