No worries my guy. ^^

Magnetism Release is a unique Kekkei Genkai (Advanced Element in our RP) which is suggested to be composed of both Earth and Wind elements. Though despite being considered that, it seems that a lot of people can have it, without any known relation to one another. In our RP, users must originate from Sunagakure or Kumogakure in order to use it.

Generally speaking, Magnetism Release is the ability to control magnetic forces in a sense. There's too much science stuff that goes along with it that I don't quite understand that relates to real life instances of the art, so I won't go into it. In short, the Naruto version of this is to create and control magnetic forces. With this chakra, users can imbue weapons, objects, or even people and turn them into living magnets.

There are three notable users of Magnetism Release. The Third Kazekage, who imbued his chakra into Iron Sand to make it special, and as such manipulate that instead. Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage who applied it in a similar way to the third and used Gold Sand with his magnetism. Lastly Toroi from Kumogakure, who has the bare bones, most basic version of this element. He's used it in a way to manipulate metallic weapons such as kunai and shuriken to fight people. I'm not sure if it counts, but I believe Gaara also has access to the element strictly through his sand, but I'm not quite sure on that.

While Iron Sand and Gold Sand have their own distinct strengths and weaknessess, they're not something I'll touch because obviously I'm not learning their variants of Magnetism. In general, Magnetism doesn't have any strengths or weaknesses, as it isn't really a tangible force Because it relies in manipulation of magnetic forces, Lightning can easily disrupt this, though it's considered neutral to it. The element can only really stop magnetic forces if it's of equal or greater rank. In terms of strengths, I'd technically say Earth is weak to Magnetism, depending on how its used. Naturally earth has minerals within it that can be easily manipulated by magnetism.
Going on that line of thought, arguably it'd also be strong to Earth-based elements (Wood, Steel etc.) and weak to Lightning-based elements (Storm, Swift etc.) but I can't be too sure on this.

I plan on using this by controlling magnetic forces in order to do things I wasn't previously able to do. There's a lot of potential for customs and limiting your opponents with this element, and I'd like to do that. It's a supplemental element, and considering I combined it with puppetry I'd like to somehow combine the two.

Good job. Now Magnetism is an odd one, it doesn't directly interact with things so it can't really be placed into a category like the other skills. But yes, Lightning is able to disrupt the magnetic fields and as for the others, its a bit different. Magnetism usually utilizes tools, which can be stopped by Earthen defenses, or even Water based ones, physical based ones. Now the thing is, Magnetism is used to magnetize objects, people, weapons, etc. Give them a certain polarity (either negative or positive, doesn't really matter). Nonetheless, you give an object the polarity, and the object you want to be attracted to said object, the opposite one (negative attracts positive, and vice versa). So assume everything has a neutral polarity before you come and do something with it. Other than that, good.

Now, Magnetism has like 4 techniques, and I'll teach them to you in a similar style to what we do in Ninjutsu, that cool with you? One technique at a time so we can discuss it well and thoroughly.

I'm fine with anything, whatever you feel more comfortable teaching. ^^

I do like the emphasis on polarity, using those things in jutsu could become really useful, not just to attract but to also repulse.

Sorry for the late reply.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A(all metal thrown at opponent hits them and causes +2 damage for each one that lands)
Description: Turns your opponent into a living magnet.

Now this is a simple technique where you will firstly focus your Magnetism chakra through the ground and towards the opponent, and change their polarity. Say, you make it positive. Now, after that, you will launch a weapon towards the opponent and give the weapon, the opposite polarity (negative, in this case). This attracts the weapons to the opponent, and basically makes them a magnet for the weapons. Combine this with that multiplying weapons technique, and you got yourself a dangerous combination. Fairly useful if you are smart about it.

It's fine, take as long as you need. ^^

I really don't think it's as deep as tuning it into a certain polarity or anything; it just turns them into a magnet. If the polarity thing is such a huge thing with this, then I'd assume it'd be the opposite of what naturally occurs in metallic weapons, and as such can act like a magnet for these things. I feel like this could be an incredible basis for some really nice customs too, that so long as the target is magnetised, you could almost bend them to their will. And because it's magnetic chakra which doesn't really have any semblance of visibility, it'd be tough to notice if you're under the influence of this jutsu unless you had a doujutsu or some form of chakra sensory. It's got a few ways of using it that's for sure. For example, combining it with Shuriken Shadow Clone for devastating results, or really any of the Tool Manipulation techniques would work wonders with this. The former would be great seeing as even just a normal kunai expands to 1000, and adding the +2 damage for everyone that hits (assuming they do hit) would be enough to kill almost anyone based on health alone.

It's nice, but I won't use it that way. Just something I thought would be a little fun.

Its basically the easiest way to explain it, since the techniques are pretty vague on their own z,z Nonetheless, good job. I know of that combination, its been done before lol, devastating if it hits.

Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user will magnetize a spot behind the target ans break up nearby earth. Then the earth will attack the use since he/she is in the filed of he magnetically charged spot.

Another cool technique, where you will magnetize a spot behind the opponent, and cause the very Earth to break up into a large chunk. This is then drawn to the opponent (written user in the technique, gonna get Adachi to fix that error), as he is in the field of the magnetically charged spot. A pretty simple premise, but allows for quite some customs.

This technique seems kind of weird to me, just in execution for the most part. For starters, how do you break up the Earth and use it for this technique? I'm guessing it'd be a mix of Earth Release as well, but eh I get what the point is of this jutsu. You magnetize an area somewhere behind the target, and break up the earth which is attracted to said area. I think what makes this jutsu decent is the fact that there is some level of defensive use here too, by creating an attraction towards another area that isn't necessarily the target and apply the same method of attracting the earth towards it. Probably the best thing about this technique itself is that it's considered a "magnetically charged spot" which I would assume is invisible to everyone unless they had doujutsu or chakra sensory. While the technique itself could be refined to sound better, there's no doubt it could be considered a basis for other techniques.

It's a simple technique, but like you said it's quite adaptable in usage and with customs.

You right, but like you said, the magnetic area affected can't really be seen.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Stops opponent from moving by messing with their minds electromagnetic fields.

Now, for a Genjutsu user like myself, this technique is quite interesting, especially if I think of what customs can be made with this (though they are a bit strict on what you can do with this, as it can be game breaking, really). Anyway, using magnetic fields around the opponent, you mess with the fields in their brains, to confuse them and temporarily stop them from moving. Good in terms of close combat, really. But yeah, pretty vague but at least its useful.

I've seen this technique, and I do have a couple of ideas wavering around for customs related to it. Mostly a passive ability to change the genjutsu medium from chakra to electromagnetic fields which I feel could be super interesting. But nevertheless there's a lot to experiment with this jutsu.

The main aspect of this jutsu is that you're somehow inflicting a genjutsu on them by messing with the minds electromagnetic fields. I think this is interesting and a lot more useful than a normal binding illusion because there's nothing to really tell if it is a genjutsu or not. Also the fact that you're messing with your target's mind through electromagnetic fields and whatnot could prove to be absolutely deadly in the right hans. It opens up a whole new world to genjutsu, not to the point of the Sharingan, but enough to have more ideas that could be considered incredibly suggestive.

What stands out about this is because you're using electromagnetic fields to bind or halt someone's movements, there's certain implications as to how this jutsu works. For starters I feel like it suggests that you're playing around with their own brainwaves and receptive responses, and stops halts their movements through that way as opposed to a normal binding genjutsu. You could even mess around with this to the point where its believed you completely remove your opponent's brain waves and reactions from the body, completely stopping movement.

I am quite interested to see what you come up with, in general.

Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After magnetising shuriken, The user throws them at the opponent. Anything that is hit by the shuriken is magnetised, as such it is important that the opponent dodges all of them as even deflecting them will cause their bodies to produce a powerful magnetic field, making them an easier target. Each time the magnetism is transferred it weakens. Then when the user will throw a larger square shuriken that is magnetised at their target with then can hone in on them and even follow them if they move.

Okay, now this technique is odd because its similar to the other technique, but also because it can be combined with other techniques. First you will magnetize a Shuriken, and throw it towards the opponent, and whatever is hit by the Shuriken is magnetized as well. After doing so, a large Shuriken is thrown which hones in on the opponent, following them if they move.

Oho~ am I making you consider Magnetism? :pkun:

Honestly, I don't see the point in using this over Electric Phantasms, which does the exact same thing only without the repercussions of needing to throw a shuriken beforehand. The only thing that gives this an actual benefit to its predecessor is that it extends to long range but can easily be countered by the sheer fact that it's only a shuriken or other basic weapon, and it has controlled damage. One thing that would strike this as being nice however is that because it magnetizes anything it touches, you couldn't exactly defend against it with something tangible like Earth or possibly Water, as it could come back to haunt you later. I think maybe something to take into consideration is because of the initial transfusion of Jiton chakra this could be used against almost anything, even solid techniques which should overpower it just because of the rank. It's handy in that regards.

Still, I don't see any real reason to use it when I'd have access to Electric Phantasms instead, which doesn't have any real indication that you've used it against someone which makes it that much more useful. Still it has its uses, like I could easily see this being used with say, Manipulated Shuriken or some other jutsu just to increase its lethality.
