“— kun. Alibaba-kun. Ah! You’re finally awake! Your ears, can they hear? Your eyes, can they see? Do you know who I am?”.
The one who appeared in front of Alibaba was… Yunan.
Yunan explains that they are at his house (you know, the one in the Great Rift), where he has been preserving Alibaba’s body using his magic. Aladdin and Mor thought that his body would be out of Al Thamen’s reach in the Great Rift, so they entrusted it to him.
It’s been so long since he had been gone, that his body is currently super weak, so he will need to undergo a harsh training to recover his strength. How long? Well… over 3 years. So for the time being, he will talk about what has happened.
The world is currently at peace, in great part due to 4 international laws that Sinbad made:
1. Abolition of slavery (slaves to be replaced by magic tools, like what happened in Magnostadt).
2. Abolition of military service.
3. Open international borders (so, freedom of travel).
4. Creation of one international currency
The last two were in line with Sinbad’s original intention, which was to greatly grow the world’s economy. And in this world, apparently the power has moved from military strength to economic power (so companies are the strongest).
“Therefore, Sinbad has… stepped down as the king of Sindria!”
Alibaba starts coughing, probably being as surprised as I am… . Yunan apologizes, and explains that it’s not strange, as all kings from the SSA have resigned, and became sort of like a “board of directors” for this new international alliance.
So, who are the new kings and queen? Sharrkan, Pisti, Spartos, Hinahoho, have all returned to their homelands as rulers.
And, by the way, Aladdin, Mor and Hakuryuu are currently missing (Yunan how can you say it like this ahahaha). He mentions something about Hakuryuu being a good ruler, but was taken down or something for a reason I don’t understand. Aladdin and Mor disappeared immediately after.
The main issue seems to be the now Metal Vessels are under the control of this IA (International Alliance), so disappearing with a MV is a crime. There are currently three “criminals” like this:
Hakuryuu,
Yamato Takeruhiko,
Nerva Julius Caluades (WHAT AHAHAHA), who has apparently become a sort of rebel fighting to reinstate kings.
Ah, and Judar? Well… he left to find Hakuryuu xD.
Yunan asks Alibaba why he came back. To protect Aladdin and the world from David? In order to do what he wants, David needs the power of the Holy Palace, and Aladdin is the key for that. And apparently Alibaba learnt this from the magicians of Alma Toran, whom he spoke with while he was wondering as an spirit…?
The two are not eating outside. After a chat on his role, Yunan says that the one who gave power to Sinbad 18 years ago was him… . After all his cycles of choosing kings, building countries, and seeing war and death, he wanted the world to change. Sinbad was a special vessel, and in 3 years he has managed to change the world.
Alibaba leaves on a journey to find Aladdin, who Yunan cannot find with his magic. Before he leaves, Yunan stops hims:
“Ah, wait! Sinbad is… a good man. It’s true that he is the best leader for the current world… and when he was young, it was out of his regard for his poor village and parents that he aimed to become king… he is a kind man. Even if it’s by a God or whatever, he is not a man whose heart can be so easily taken over! That’s why… ah, what am I saying…”
“If it’s about Sinbad’s good qualities, I also know a lot! That’s why, once I clearly look at him with my own eyes, I will know for sure. Everything!”
Meanwhile, Yunan will remain in the valley, but will come to his aid if he needs him.
“Have a safe trip, Alibaba-kun!”
“Yes, I’m off!”
