Magellan no diff because his red hydra form (no clue what it was called again) was able to corrupt stone and spread like a disease within the stone to everything it touched. So Magellan just has to activates that mode and slightly bend his knees. Touch one stone and Pica is done.

Venom Demon or Kinijite if you want to use the japanese term. This match-up reminds me of how it may go in a location like Impel down full of stone though(where the donquixote family was sent in). Technically Pica could be a real pain in the ass for him with the entire stone environment under his control

Sorry I am replying late but didnt Oda kind of already do that with Crocodile? Pre G2 Luffy was keeping up with him just fine but in Marineford he was clashing with Doffy comfortably who kept up with gear 2 luffy comfortably. So if Crocodile and Luffy fought now Crocodile should be unable to keep up with him but I am sure that would not be the case

Crocodile was handicapped when fighting Luffy. In their 2nd fight, Croc destroyed Luffy when he finally stopped underestimating Luffy & being caught off guard. In their 3rd fight, Croc didn't use his sand powers. In Marineford, all Croc did was swing at Doffy & Doffy blocked it.
Magellan had no such handicaps. In fact, he had handicaps in his favor & was dead serious, yet Luffy could still put up such a fight & even had the strength to hold off Venom Demon.

Magellan i think is definitely not overrated. He just has been power cheeped out via haki. Magellan for all we know has haki after the timeskip or already has it but rely on his OP devil fruit. I really dont think he is overrated. I think hes perfect for a warden. Enclosed spaces where the poison cant really be dodged.

You pretty just gave a reason as to why he is overrated. He DOESN'T have haki. For the 22 years he was IP, he didn't have it so its baseless to say he learned it now. He is only a threat inside Impel Down cause you can't dodged too well but even still, Luffy with wax could hold off even Venom Demon. What if Magellan is on an open field where its all fair game? Despite this, Magellan can beat yonko commanders....

Just because he didn't show Haki doesn't mean he doesn't have it. Hes a warden of the most important prisons in the world of cause he has Haki.
Hes said to be equal to Shiliew and for sure he knows Haki. I mean he bet pretty much everyone we have seen face him. He's one shot Blackbeard, Luffy and fought Ivankov. Hes DF is hacks and i really dont think hes overrated.

Yes, Magellan is overrated if anyone thinks he's undisputed. Current Luffy can defeat Magellan. Put aside poison amunity. He can defeat Magellan without it. Have we seen any non-Haki Yonkou commander?

Even Luffy could hit BB as he was careless. Magellan beat CQC fighters who didn't have/use haki. He is a horrid match up for them. He's so slow that even BASE LUFFY could dodge all of his attacks & G2 has moves powerful enough to make Magellan cough blood, go white-eyed & fall to his knees while sweating. Everything about Magellan is situational.
I'm surprised no one else pointed that out. I made this quickly and don't see the need to put too much effort on this site. Pretty much what I said was:
-Preskip Luffy could fight & hurt Magellan. No way a yonko commander would be threaten by preskip as they can crush a Post-TS G2/3 Luffy.
-Magellan is slow as Base Luffy dodged all of his attacks.
-With wax, Base Luffy could hold off Magellan & G3 could hold off Venom Demon.
-Iva lost becuase he faced hydra head on without haki & people say Magellan is strong because of it.
-Jet Bazooka could make Magellan fall to his knees while coughing blood & sweating. Imagine if Jinbe punched him or Post-TS Luffy.
-He chased away close quarter combat guys with no signs or use of haki. Toss in ID's enclosed spaces, Magellan had 2 big advantages over his opponents.
