This is the 7th year since Mafia Universe hosts the Mafia Championship and invites every site who has a forum mafia section to send a representative there.

This is the place to talk about this event, the place where everyone should nominate the player they consider best for this job and after finding the nominees we will have a poll to choose our player. The second place will be back up for the possibility our reppresentative needs to be replaced.

I nominate @TheLukundo because even if he wasn't active in his last game I know what he can do when he is really motivated.

I would nominate myself but then the mafia championship would be too easy and would end too quick with me holding the golden championship. But since I am a nice guy, I don’t wanna ruin the fun for the other players. So I will refrain from joining

Who won the last championship? How far you progressed in the last championship @Michelle

The setup was a madness 17er open game. All roles were known, claim allowed and the roles were automatically random distributed and the alignaments too by the MUs Modbot (voting and night actions are also automated to not let room for host errors). I wanted to run the setup here but I had only 13 players and changed the game.
There were 11 games and the players had to nominate from themselves a list of 4. I choose 3 townies and a mafia to advance. The one who went in the final from my game was Pawn Lelouch, and Hater and Telleo played Wild Card game 1 but didn't advance to the finale. Except the most voted players from a game the order of all the players and everyone's votes are not published so idk my rank in that game. If you want to read it it's Game 11. I wasn't nominated in the top 4, there were players with a way bigger game experience. All the top voted players were villagers even if the game was a mafia win. I was villager and killed in night 5, the game finished in day 7.
Imagine 181 players from different sites with different playstiles.
So the one who had the most votes went to the final game, the second to one of the 2 Wildcard games. From the WC advanced 6 players to make the playerlist complete. The finale was won by Beck, the second was MacDougall. The finale's players from every year cannot participate in the championship (except maybe they are subs) to let new players to compete.
The voting system it's not perfect and I thought the jury of experienced players will have a word to say but it wasn't the case. They just choose from the already nominated players the one to advance to wild cards to fill the games. Though for them to choose that would mean to read through all the 11 games and that is a huge task, plus to debate between themselves and idk if someone has so much free time.

I can't put a link but at google search of the site you can find and browse it. It's a site dedicated to mafia games who encourages the communication between mafia communities from everywhere.
