Madara can't get the fruit since a fruit only appears after the flower blooms. Since the flower has been stopped from blooming. There can be no fruit.

Madara said it clearly, he will take obito's place as the juubi's jinchuriki using hashirama's senjutsu to stop obito. When he said that, he pulled out a black rod.
We know that rinnegan users can use those black rods to manipulate a body, leaving or dead. To use it, they pierce the "object's" body with the black rod, thus gaining control of it.
Given the situation, I think it's easy to understand that what madara wants is to control hashirama via black rods in order to use hashirama in SM to fight and injure obito. This is his plan, most likely. At least it was, as the situation changed again in a way madara probably didn't expect.
However, his intention is still to become the juubi's jinchuriki. Don't forget this.

Not to burst any bubbles, but Obito has almost been defeated. This phrase construction basically stands on a mojor active concept; ALMOST! So far any scenarios concerning weather or not the flower will bloom are speculation.

Your comment about Madara turning into a human being again made me laugh, cos it reminded me of Pinocchio. Sorry, I don't mean to make fun of your thread. Anyway, I don't think this is possible for madara since there is no fruit in the first place.

Well we will see soon. The last thing they showed was him stating he'll take over in Obito's place as the 10 tails jink then we see him appear to reach out with mokuton assumingly towards Obito...but that was a few chapters back. I think the talk no jutsu hits Obito like Method man with a spiked bat "Buuyaa!", Obi and Kakashi patch things up then bam....Madara takes Obito out
