Now before you go bash me guys, I'll require you to be open-minded. This is a far-fetched theory. My inspiration was Mitarashi.
So we know that regardless of what happens on the battlefield, Madara remains all the time calm, too calm if you ask me. After seeing how strong Obito has become I doubt that Madara's trump card has anything to do with the use of power. Instead it will have to do with psycological war. Think about it, what is Obito's main motivation that pushes him to move forward no matter what happens? RIN
What do we know exactly about Rin? We have no knowledge about her family or of any previous background which indicates her origins. Yet we have seen that she has a major impact on the decisions of the currently most powerful character, obito.
In his past Obito was a kind kid who immediately got a crush on Rin. If you remember, she was the one that helped him during the first days and later we see her say this
Zetsu later also says this
The use of the exact same sentence as the way it was emphasized in Rin's case, looks a bit suspicious if you ask me.
Now I'm not implying that Rin is just a zetsu transformed since zetsu in order to copy someone, they have to exist in the first place. However, I do believe that here it is sounded as if they share the same task given by a mastermind, Madara. I believe that Madara created Rin the same way he created black zetsu by using Yin-Yang release. (After all it wouldn't be the first time we see people created by Yin-Yang release. Let's not forget that the two basic enemies' ancestors, uchiha and senju were created by the exact same way, same goes for the creation of the 9 tailed beasts). However, Rin was genuinely created as a kind person, it was not just a foil she used to trick Obito. I believe that all this time that Madara was incapacited, he was searching for his perfect apprentice by using his zetsu as spies. So when he found the guy he wanted, Obito, he created a person who would mean the world for him, in order to manipulate him, even if it was indirectly at the beginning. For this reason I believe that Madara was waiting patiently the correct moment to get his hands on Obito. After he did that, the only thing that had to do was to sacrifice his creation in order to make Obito follow him. The way Rin was killed by the one who loved in front of Obito's eyes while that same man was the one that was entrusted with Obito's sharingan to protect her, was the thing that sealed Obito's fate and changed him once and for all. Also, to strenghten my opinion about Madara being the mastermind, I would like to point out how Madara was sure all this time that Obito would change, it's like he was certain, certain for a reason. I think that Madara controlled the Mizukage the same way Obito did afterwards in order to assure Rin's death in front of Obito's eyes. A proof of that is that when Obito fought against the mist anbu and jonins to protect Rin's body, one of the guys said "Don't look down on the blood mist" a title which the mist village got during the time the mizukage was under Obito's control or better under fake Madara's control. Being said that, the fact that it already had it, indicates that this period of blood starts from way before like back in Madara's old days.
Back to the trump card's point. I believe that Madara will tell the truth to Obito about Rin being a creation he had created all along. This will put Obito in a huge phycological turmoil and will cause him to loose control over Juubi. At that point Juubi will take over Obito's body and Madara will try to take control over it. The basic idea is that Madara doesn't loose his confidence for a reason. He knows all too well that no matter how strong Obito becomes, the relevation of who Rin actually was, Obito's whole power to move forward, will shatter and he'll be helpless. The only reason he doesn't use it just yet is because he wants Obito to become as strong as possible because this will be for his benefit.
Did you see before how Obito managed to resist madara's control at the previous chapters all because he thought of Rin and how he resisted against Juubi itself? What would have happened in both cases if there wasn't that motivation? Madara's plan would have suceeded. Just because he used it once and failed, doesn't mean that it can't work a second time and control Obito's body efficiently. Also, Rin's surgical knowledge might indicate that she was the person that implanted Madara's rinnegan on Nagato and the one who later transplanted to Madara his other sharingan. In case you talk about her age, don't forget that since she was such a creation maybe aging rules don't apply to her the same way. In any case, these surgical skills are also the ones that came in handy to reassure kakashi's sharingan transplant's success. Also, the fact that Madara had only one sharingan can be an indication that he sacrificed the other to perform Izanagi and create Rin. For that reason if someone goes by saying why Madara didn't use this technique more times it's for the simple fact that Izanagi comes at the cost of one eye and since Madara was old at his late days, he may also have wanted to keep his chakra for as long as possible in order to increase his life span.
To sum up, I believe that Rin might have been a creation of Yin-Yang release who was created by Madara in order to befriend Madara's future apprentice and collegue. Nonetheless, she was not evil but yet Madara was able to control different factors such as her death, in order for him to shatter Obito's idealism and make him his student. For all these reasons, I support that Madara's secret is the relevation of her true nature, a fact which will make Obito vulnerable and easily controllable. Again, the reason for which I believe that madara's trump card is something like that is the fact that he can't possibly keep up with Obito's current powers. Therefore the key is not about dominating through raw power but rather by destroying someone's sheer will. Let's not forget that Madara has also tried to break others' will in the past. He tried to kill Ohnoki because he was able to motivate the other kages and later he was happy about what first appeared as Obito's success to break Naruto's will, because in this way he would break the will of everyone's else as well. So destroying Obito's sole motivation can be proved more effective than any other power-up. If you think about it, it's a cruel irony in a way because Obito is fighting right now to turn his dream into reality but what he doesn't know is that if what I say is correct, then his whole motivation from the beginning was a person created by dreams.
