Madaras trump card

Madara has been trying to get hashi to fight him one on one since he showed up. He was annoyed when all he got were weak clones. He was going to fuse with hashi and become almost as powerful as itachi without MS. Then, after he fused with hashi he would have become mortal.

Note that he was trying to get hashi to come fight him when obito was trying to revive him.
