He only, control it with his ms, but for reason kishi did not want spoil the suprise that he was obito or the same eye tech as kakashi, if u can remember the ability to move thru obj or allowing object to pass thru him, can only be done with his mangeko sharinga, which was explained kakashi, but kishi made us believe that it was 3t in order to not spoil the fun.
