Anywya, genjutsu seems to be how Madara survived

Conspiracy and Conclusion :
What if Madara told him, Uchiha Kagami, to pretend to be in their side so they could keep an eye on the village?

And since Shisui's have the best genjutsu, couldn't his father have the same, or at least close? He had to be good to be in 2nd Hokage team.
And by using his genjutsu, he could've helped Madara against Hashirama, fooling Hashirama with his genjutsu...

Shisui, seemed to give up when he let danzo steal his eye, we know he could've done something, then he gave Itachi the other one, and disappeared? He could've known the truth and didn't handle it, or is also part of the plan... How come he had the Mangekyou sharingan too??

Then Madara's Trump card have something to do with this, Kagami's eyes, or even the return of Uchiha Shisui..

yeah anything is possible.. who would've said Itachi was actually good.. Who would've said the leader of Akatsuki would be Talk no Jutsu'ed, Obito to become Juubi's jinchuriki etc

yeah this is interesting to read.but you said maybe kagami helped madara fool hashirama, thinking he stabbed madara in the chest but don't forget the same madara said he received a serious injury in the chest from that fight with hashirama, but infused mokuton into the wound to awaken rinnegan.so if yousay genjutsu is the reason why madara survived then why did madara admit he got wounded in the chest by hashirama.

he probably told him not to interfer unless he's injured badly. Madara is arrogant but knew there was a possibility of him losing.

Thanks for the thread. I thought I was the only one who thought madara was using kagami's eyes and that shisui is
