Here's what I don't get, if Madara's true plan is just to rule the world, why does he need the Moon's Eye plan if he is immortal and unstoppable? Honestly? He has the strongest moves, body and justu of anyone currently living. The only people who had a slight chance at beating him were Naruto and Bee and that was because they are Jinchuuriki.

The entire ninja alliance (which we are basically the only ninja in the world except for rogues) are at the battlefield right now. He didn't need the Juubi, PS could wipe them all out in seconds. It wasn't needed, and it seems the only reason he's doing it now is because Obito already started it.

Or maybe I'm missing something, want to help guys?

The Moon's Eye Plan was just to get Obito to play along with Madara's plan. Madara wants to become Jinchuriki of the Juubi and rule the world.

He wants peace -- for everyone. In his own misguided way. That's all there is to it. Wiping out everyone is something he'd rather avoid, no doubt.

Well if the rest of the Shinobi were gone, he could easily have peace between the nations. There would be no ninja villages.

Even if he wiped out all shinobi, people would find other ways to go to war with each other -- it would just be a temporary solution. War will always exist, and the only way to go against this is with the Mugen Tsukuyomi, or get rid of mankind as a whole. The latter is obviously not an option.

Bah, you're right. It certainly seems like the latter would be the more fun option.
