Madara's technique: Not Space Time, Not done with Sharringan.

Following Madara's movements:
(Image 1) He approaches Sasuke, then in a quick instant he is standing behind the tree. (Image 2) Deidra then drops his clay-bird explosion onto Sasuke. In the frame, where the point of view is from above, you can see a shadow moving to the left.
(Image 3) Deidra and Madara are standing next to eachother, Deidra landed next to him.
(Image 4) Sasuke slices through Madara and is shocked.

What I Noticed:
(Image 1) The path of dust leads away from Sasuke towards the tree Madara went to. (Image 2) The shadow moving to the left goes in a different direction that Madara went.

* This is when Madara used a Shadow replacement technique of some sort. If you think the shadow is because of Deidra's birds, then Madara could have moved himself by his shadow along it. Think of Shikamaru, and using the shadows of other objects to move his own shadow. This is what would explain how Sasuke sliced through Madara. The reason Sasuke was surprised is because he wasn't using Sharringan at the time.

**Also note that Sasuke would have noticed the sharringan being used by Obito/Madara, because Madara was facing him. This means that the sharringan WAS NOT USED for the ("space-time"/new un-named technique).

*** To add to this. Chapter 380, Madara is preventing Naruto and the gang from getting to where Sasuke is fighting Itachi. Naruto's rasengan goes right through him. I bet that Madara is using his "clone" at this point, while his real self beats the "clam looking guy" in getting to Sasuke. Thats why that guy asked how Madara moved that fast, this adds to my notion that is is NOT space time. It was the Leaf's ASSUMPTION that is was space-time.

In conclusion. I can see this technique of Madara's not being out of reach for Nartuo. Naruto could make 1 shadowclone, and make it really strong. Instead of a knife "popping" the clone, it could just go through it.

Hmmm, so what your saying is that it's basically a really advanced shadow clone?
Ok, I see 2 things wrong with that.
1: Kakashi and Sasuke had a look at him with his sharingan, if he was a shadow clone, no doubt Sasuke/Kakashi would have known because there would be no chakra flow.
2: You say the sharingan doesn't have anything to do with his space/time jutsu, but when he encountered team Kakashi, he had his sharingan activated.
Who's to say that when he encountered Sasuke, he closed his eye/s so that Sasuke wouldn't notice his sharingan?
Oh, and the images are madd small, you'd be better off just linking them.

I'm trying to say that Madara disappearing in battle is different than the space time.

I see what both of you are saying.

Madara does seem to have a space time jutsu, I read a post on here, don't remember from who, that showed Madara disappearing from the cave the Akatuski are sealing the bijuu in. Because of some "swoosh" drawn in one of the frames.

However, I think we are attributing the "space time jutsu" to his "in-battle de-materialize jutsu"

Is it possible that this is true?

And what is shaded blur traveling in the opposite direction? It can't be the bird-bomb because if it landed where the shadow was, Sasuke wouldn't have to dodge. Unless Deidra was trying to kill Madara... In reality, I think Madara uses some type of replication technique that makes it seem like he moves really fast. Shadow clones have chakra networks, thats why the Sharringan has trouble telling the difference.

Hmm, true, but Sasuke said that he could tell the difference between Naruto's clones and the ACTUAL Naruto with his sharingan.
So weather or not they have a chakra flow is a moot point.

In the fight between Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto did the shadow clone lader thing, and whip lashed Sasuke into the mountain, then Sasuke did the fireball jutsu and it went down the line of clones and destroyed them all. Sasuke had a look of utter shock to see the Naruto in the front was actually him... I don't think the sharringan can tell the difference. Neji also thought he could tell which Naruto was real, but couldnt.

hmm idk it sound slike a believable scenario but i do think sharingan was a part of it like when madara slowed them down it could've have been a genjutsu must of ben real high level for kakashi to seemingly notice yet hinata even said that there was no real chakra sig hmmm
