[Theory] Madaras survival

from what I have read I am found out there are two theories of how madara survived his battle with hashirama.

1. Madara used gengutsu on hashirama to fake his death.i believe this is wrong because Madara told obito that he put
Hashirama's DNA into his wound.

2. Madara was saved by an unknown character. This could true but who saved madara

What if he used genjutsu to make Hashirama miss thinking he killed him

If you look at the picture of Hashirama stabbing Madara you can see hes clearly missed his heart.

he was still dying so he unlocked nrinnegan then took his eyes out inserted a spare adnn iused izanagi

made zetsu give eyes to nagato or by himself

I think he probably used a smaller scale genjutsu in getting Hashi to think he hit a vital spot.
But if I had to pick between the two you gave I would pick the first one

Unless Madara implanted a spare eye somewhere else on his body there´s no way he could have used Izanagi. If he would have done it with Izuna's eyes then the chances of the Rinnegan awakening in them would be ruined, so not likely in one bit. Besides, Izanagi would have removed fatal injury, and Madara admitted he took a wound to the chest(at least the picture did, and that was likely extracted from his own memory and shown to Obito).

No real idea how he survived though. And, as honorable as Hashirama seemed, he might have tried taking the body with him for some sort of funeral. But the chances of leaving the body of his friend there seems more likely.

Izanagi only takes light from one eye

How does Madara use Izanagi and still obtain both eyes. His ORIGINAL eyes were given to Nagato and from the looks of it, BOTH eyes were working. If Izanagi is used, the eye shuts and is unable to open FOREVER.
