First of all, yes, Madara achieved Mokuton after his fight with Hashirama. He had also awakened Rinnegan shortly before he died, so it must count as one of his abilities. Restricting him to EMS is pointless and obvious down-grading him as a legendary shinobi.
Second of all, you are, intentionally or not, down-grading Naruto's and Kurama's power by saying he'd get murdered by a single sword slash. I advise you to re-think all of the possibilities and to come up with a legit proof, so that we can discuss this appropriately. Not by speculating.
