[Theory] Madara's Spare Eyes

Madara was obviously using Izunas eyes during his final fight with hashi.

Izunas eyes are the "Spares" that he refers to when speaking with obito.

MADARAS ORIGINAL AND REAL EYES were transplanted into Nagato.

Nothing in the manga tells us that you are not right.You may be right.

Yin+Yang=god
Rinnengan=god's eye
Anybody can be a god in my opinion.
Uchiha are made of Yang force (black will) , if you put Yang into Yin , that creates god ( a sharingan into a uzumaki creates a rinnengan )

His original eyes burned out and his younger brother gave him his MS eyes.

So Nagato has Izuna's eyes. Eyes that Madara and Hashirama help evolve into the hack Rinnegan.

When Izuna 'died' . . . there was no indication that his eyes were losing light.
[then again this was a back story from Hashi's perspective so he simply may not have known]
Fighting Danzo - Sasuke's eyes were beginning to blur [ I had forgot about that ]
