Madara's Sharingan far exceeds kotoamatsukami

Madara's genjutsu that we have seen in the latest chapter far exceeds Shuisui's kotoamatsukami. Dont get me wrong Shusui's genjutsu is hella strong, it allows him to control a person without them even noticing. But Madara's genjutsu allows him to show a person what they actually want to see and somewhat tricks them into wanting to remain in the genjutsu because they can have whatever they want in this dream world of his.

That was very basic. Genjutsu when used in battle is usually offensive but that doesn't mean it can not do what madara did

He even said that connected to the Mazo he can use this genjutsu. KA is a stronger version I guess but it has a slow recharge. 10 years. Pretty lame.

His gen gives him such control because he was linked to the Gedo Mazo

And it wasn't basic. He could create anything in the white world, no matter how detailed, and for as long as he wanted. It is more complicated than "basic genjutsu."

Only people like Kabuto or Orochimaru have a chance against someone with Kotoamatsukami (because they dont need their eyes to fight), everyone else can be controlled.

Madaras genjutsu however was a simple genjutsu. Its a known fact that the caster can create everything in his genjutsu, nothing to brag about. Madara just needed the Mazou because he was weak as hell at that moment, he struggled to breath...forget about him casting a genjutsu at that state xD
