How? Because he was naturally able to awaken them. By knowing how to he was able to expand his life long enough to awaken Rinnegan in both of his eyes unlike Sasuke who needed to almost die to get at least one Rinnegan.

Rinnegan genjutsu is greater than Sharingan genjutsu so Madara stomps on any MS genjutsu, and his Limbo can counter anyone since any average shinobi cannot see his Limbo Clones.

Lets face reality no one could have surpassed Madara at the level he was able to reach. Only person who got close to him was Naruto but he still couldn't do it.

OK, It takes Madara his entire life time to awaken it and he not without a support to help him achieved it. He clung himself to GM using something like umbilical cord to expand his life force and time. Without it he would be dead before awoken the Rinnegan eyes.

Not that Sasuke unable to obtain Rinnegan naturally but it takes time. Maybe when he get older. Or never depends on luck.

Same can happen to Madara if he never attached his self to GM.

You bring here about Rinnegan Genjutsu. And Madara doesnt have any Rinnegan genjutsu. Only Sasuke. At most, Madara had Limbo.

If Sasuke do what Madara did, he can achieve the same thing like Madara

I think Sasuke's Rinnegan is equal to or better than Madara's. Madara was a juubi jin when we saw him use the Rinnegan's true power and Sasuke obviously wasn't, but Sasuke still showed very impressive feats even if he had much less chakra than Madara/Naruto. Why do people always keep remarking that Sasuke has one Rinnegan is if it's a sign of his inferiority. Sasuke's Rinnegan was able to trap the bijuus with just simply 2 quick moves and Sasuke's use of it made him on Hagoromo level. Yeah Sasuke has just one but it obviously has the power of 2 Rinnegan.

No Sasuke eye is not rinnegan. His eye is rinne sharingan that is different. Rinnegan is far weak at Genjutsu. What is wrong with you? Look at Madara switch to EMS on A because he know his rinnean couldn't use genjutsu only sharingan or MS or EMS. Sasuke has rinne sharingan that is powerful than just sharingan or just rinnegan. It even could genjutsu.

Not when:

• Madara's eyes are the Sages eyes. Sasuke can not have eyes that are stronger than the Sage's.
• When Sasuke has not enough chakra (like in VOTE 2) he can not control properly his Rinnegan.
• Sasuke's Rinnegan needs to be recharged whereas Madara's and Hagoromo's doesn't need to.
• Also Sharingan can also trap Bijuu with just 2 moves... Madara controlled Kurama with his Sharingan completely against Hashi.

In the end its not better but rather equal or close to being equal. But it also has disadvantages. People forget about them a lot.

- rinnesharingan automatically is above sasuke's 6 tomoe rinnegan
- saying madara can't use the portal is just a biased opinion, madara did'nt have a full chapter with his rinnesharingan (atleast he was'nt fighting)
- madara had the requirements for the portal, he has kaguya's eye that uses this ability, he has the chakra, so I'm pretty sure he can
- let's say madara's double rinnegan can't cast genjutsu, he has the third rinnegan which can cast genjutsu on the whole world
- catching the bijuus in an instant aint jack for someone like madara (unless y'all are biased to think madara can't replicate such a feat)
- madara has the chakra to use the rinnegans ability to their fullest potential (maybe not dimension shifting) but he can use any other rinnegan ability better than sasuke due to possesing greater reserves and rikudou senjutsu boost

-ameno did work on madara yea, but madara figured out how it worked, seeing limbo does'nt mean he can handle them like naruto did (even then limbo destroyed narutos clones), madara figured out the range and how it works, madara can just limbo swap
- madara can use clones that use EMS, its not as sufficient yea but he still can use sharingan genjutsu
- sasuke could'nt use the portal while stuck in kaguya's dimension too + we know dual rinnegan are stronger when they are together, and using kamui eye is easier to access the dimension, coz if madara had the portal technique, he might take longer (as seen from when obito was searching for sasuke), so you can't conclude madara can't use the portals
