When Madara met up with Obito, for the very first time he mentioned that his right eye was not with him.
So, who is the person did Madara lend the eye to?

Me? I'll say Danzo, he probably let Danzo borrow the eye, now I' curious about the Mangekyou capabilities of Madara!?

So, yeah, leave me some well thought out theories!

But on the flashback, Madara said his eyes, he was talking about getting his right eye back.
Nagato got Madara eyes (both of his eyes)
Madara did not lend Nagato with only one eye.
Meaning he lended his right eye to someone else, before lending it to Nagato Fully.

Dude, when Obito met Madara, Madara already had given Nagato his eyes. After he gave them to him, he found/took another one, a third Sharingan.
