Madara didn't do that out of kindness, Black Zetsu was in full control of Obito's body and with Kamui, Madara can escape the Kamui dimension. Madara took his Rinnegan back, so he made Black Zetsu use Kamui instead,

bz was in control of body... especially left side which had rinnegan. once rinnegan gone means bz stuck with madara in dimension. had to give other eye back to escape.

Well anyone with Kamui is useful; OP. BZ is no longer on ten ten status. He had to get out of the dimension somehow with both his eyes without being flanked and he doesn't really have any other options what to do with the eye.
