Madara's power as an edo

So I was wondering, can madara endlessly use izanami and izanagi since he cannot die? I mean would he lose an eyem

I'm pretty sure EMS does NOT cancel the effects of Izanami and Izanagi. Otherwise he would never die ever. How would he have lost to Hashirama if he could endlessly revive himself?

OT, itachi's eye did not revive as an Edo so Madara's would not either.

If Madara used Izanagi or Izanami, he will definitely lose his eye. Because that's a technique that costs the light of an eye.
And using Mangekyo Sharingan over and over will lose the light of both the eyes. Whereas using EMS over and over won't affect the light of the eyes.
It doesn't considers whether it is a MS or EMS. A technique is used at the cost of something either chakra, life or light.

OT, itachi's eye did not revive as an Edo so Madara's would not either.

Maybe because it was for the sake of story progression that he didn't use Izanagi or Izanami <-- Izanami in this case being useless.... Well, nobody knows how that story goes, but that's the requirements of the Jutsu, for the eye to lose its light... But the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan NEVER loses its light... There's a bit of contradiction here... But who truly knows, not you or I. Danzo and Tobi used Izanagi with a regular 3-Tomoe Sharingan so of course they lost their light, and Itachi used Izanagi with his Mangkeyou Sharingan... Which loses its light as well, the purpose of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan was to never lose light, so I'ma safely assume [If needed] he could use either Jutsu without the after effects... But that's only my assumption.
