Madaras plan...?

So now that naruto cut the god tree and madara has absorbed it, where does that leave madaras plan? He was supposed to use the eye on the god tree to cast his genjutsu. Now that its absorbed into him, can he still use the eye and cast the genjutsu? Is the eye part of him now? If yes, what is he waiting for? And if no, is he supposed to unabsorb it or something? I have no idea. Thoughts?
