A lot of people (including myself) are a bit disappointed with Madara's resolve. The moment that irked me the most is when the Hokage appear and he gets left open-mouthed by Hashirama. It was either for comic relief or just a serious downplay on Madara's character.
And yes, I do believe that Madara's attitude is rather disappointing but the most recent case, i think, can be somewhat justified. Right when I thought Madara would stop messing around and get serious as he takes over Obito, he loses to Obito, who becomes the jinchuriki.
And the "oh, well" response was just as disappointing but I think I would prefer it over "OH NO! MY EVIL PLAN! GAAH!", y'know? I think that Kishi is trying to show that Madara is cool, calm, collected, and can react to any situation with ease, but its being presented in the wrong way.
We dont even fully know his motives. Maybe he does want Infinite Tsukuyomi and thats why he's not so upset over Obito. I doubt he's still all over Hashi, since he made the resolve to become the jinchurikki without fighting him. So until we know his true motives, we cant really judge this laidback attitude he presents. Or maybe he just has it because for the time being, he's immortal and he's just chilling.
Anyway, feedback? Do you guys like Madara's laidback villian attitude? Do you expect more from him? Etc.
