Well if an Edo Maddy was being restrained by a SM level jutsu, but an alive Maddy broke out of the jutsu like it was a pinata then yeah I think he has gotten much stronger.

He'll clearly have something us his sleeve as to why he is stronger now than he was as an Edo. The thing is, Edos don't have full strength when they're brought back; they're NEAR full strength at this point. When Orochimaru first revived the hokages against Hiruzen, they weren't at full strength; if they were, Hiruzen would've been killed much sooner. Kabuto perfected it more, as well as Orochimaru when he revived the hokage. Now that he's alive, Madara's strength has gone up at least a little bit; most likely enough to put him over Hashirama.

Thats pretty much it. He has a bit more strength now. However, I'll agree with all these threads in the sense that if he gets hit hard, he could be in serious trouble now that he cant regenerate.

I think everyone is confused because of what Kabuto says when he first talks with Madara after he is resurrected.

"You've been completed beyond what you were in your prime."

To me, the EDO should've been stronger than he was, but then again he could've just been talking about hashirama's DNA.

I fully agree with you, but as you might also noticed Kishi likes to put ace's in the villains as*
so I believe Madara not just gains more Performance with his new Body and a more soft and clear Skin, but he also
will probably gain a part or maybe the full of the juubis chakra. If it is not that he'll use the god tree to do something "evil"
Still : Madara is killable now. He got no unlimited Chakra anymore = NO FLYING METEORS ANYMORE.

Maybe Kabuto ment that his new edo body, that's not at full power, with Hashiramas cells and Rinnengan is better than his old body with just EMS.
