Madara's nonaction

I am actually pretty confused right now. The edo-kage have shown up to stop Madara and Madara has be insistent upon winning this entire time, now he's all excited to fight and when Hashirama tells him to wait a minute so they can stop the Juubi, Madara listens.
The question, is why the heck is Madara not attacking at the same time as the Juubi. Why is he just letting do whatever they want while he sits back and relaxes? I mean that is a pretty bad game plan to win.

Because its unstoppable hahsirama said that it would restrict its movements not stop him. And how are u suppose to split them up again without the rinnegan to create. Madara is acting so relaxed because there is no one that can beat him.

I guess he has no reason to fight because he's still considered dead and he needs to be alive in order to become the jinchuuriki thus completing the plan he made. The only person that can "help" him is Obito but Obito isn't there sooooo what's the point? Also I think because of the plot: I mean he can freakin shoot meteors out of the sky is he wanted to and kill the whole Alliance but I think Kishi is probably holding him back because he's too op =D

It's mostly Obito's responsibility. Madara could really care less about the Moons Eye Plan anymore it seems since it really doesn't serve him any purpose since he's already dead, has unlimited chakra, Rin'negan, and Wood release. The only thing that it would do is put him into power.. but he honestly doesn't need it and it was going to be Obito controlling everything anyway... He just wanted to bring destruction since the start of this war, he could care less about the people living in peace via ultimate genjutsu. He's brought enough destruction and now his ultimate rival, Hashirama, has come to into the equation. To him Hashi is the only one worth his time, if he wants to fight him so badly, his best bet is to get rid of the rampaging Juubi so it's out of the way.

At least I think anyway... either that or he knows the seal isn't going to work.
