Madara's Motives?

Earlier today I read a thread (

) that suggested that Madara was not under Kabuto's control. Not to say Madara isn't subject to disappearing if Kabuto releases Edo Tensei or even being put under Kabuto's control if the snakey bastard makes the call. I believe those things are debatable. The thread merely suggested that currently, Madara is acting of his own free will, and there were some pretty convincing arguments. However, I have one major problem:

If Madara is acting of his own free will (and I believe he is), why is he attacking the Kages? Is he actually evil? I was previously under the impression that he was a good character that was merely at odds with the Senju. Please provide any insight you have.

Madara is trying to complete eye of the moon plan, that's why hes fighting against allied shinobi forces.

If Tobi is old enough to have known Madara when he was alive and if the Moon's Eye Plan was created back then, then this is possible. However, I don't know of any supporting evidence. Please prove me wrong if you can.

Madara Is Arrogent-Thinking He Is The Strongest Ninja (Life Or Death) And That The Kage's Battle With Him Is Just Amuseing. Madara Fight's The Kage For Pride-It's Just A Way To Stroke His Ego Since He Could Not When He Was DEAD Dead.

Sometimes it's nice to be wrong, but this opens up so many new questions. How did Madara learn of the Moon's Eye? Did he create it? If he did, how did he relate it to Tobi? In either case WHO THE HELL IS TOBI?!

You are just over imaginative like everyone who believes that Tobi is someone other than Madara, or you want to see another Uchiha introduced to the manga. Life doesn't give you something just cuz you want it(or in this case Kishi). There can be no more predictions, at least not from the logical ones that know he cannot be anyone other than Madara. The fake Madara's plan is the real Madara's plan as well, Madara summoned the Kyuubi to attack Konoha after Naruto's birth where Minato made an educated guess about his identity and what was it? Yup it was Uchiha Madara. Every other character knows him as Madara including Itachi. Why would Tobi feel the need to lie to someone thats about to die from his hand? During Tobi vs Konan, he told Konan he was Uchiha Madara and then he killed her after explaining the so6p's jutsu. What was the point of that if it wasn't to marvel at his own abilites gained from the combined DNA of both Senju and Uchiha after obtaining it from his battle with Senju.

well if you read madara's verbal exchange with mu/kabuto, its clear him and tobi were associates and had a set plan to bring madara back via nagato and rinne-tensei, but things went awry when nagato died, so tobi went into plan B

Ummm... ok... I think it's probably more over imaginative to believe Tobi is Madara. Tobi cannot logically be Madara considering Madara died and was resurrected with Edo Tensei. I know Kishi pulls some crazy shit, but man is that a stretch.

Thats it! Thats the only frikking excuse everyone uses against that theory. Have you seen what other ninjas have done in the past, much crazier stuff. Minato had sealed a part of his chakra inside Naruto's seal, chakra is spiritual energy, spirit=soul. Also, if no one had killed Kisame's Zetsu clone, it would still be alive despite Kisame being dead. And its not that much of a stretch considering everything. You should reconsider. No one else is capable of summoning the Kyuubi.
