madara's katon, obito´s bafuku rambuu and sasuke´s amaterasu

katon vs amaterasu

if you put either madara(with his katon) or obito(with bafuku rambuu) in one side, and in the other side sasuke using amaterasu to counter the katon, i think sasuke would lose let me explain why.

It´s true that amaterasu will burn the flames too but i´ve never seen amaterasu cover as much range as madara´s katon or obito´s bafuku rambuu, both madara and obito´s katon have a huge range, between both of them were able to reach the whole alliance and if it wasnt for naruto most of the SA would have been taken down, while i see sasuke´s amaterasu burning some of the flames i think sasuke would get burned, because amaterasu´s wouldnt spread fast enough to burn such a huge range technique and therefore the flames would get to sasuke before amaterasu can consume the flames, the only time i saw a lot of black flames was when naruto combined rasenshuriken with sasuke amaterasu arrow, and even there it was nowhere near as big as madara´s or obito´s.
NOTE: this is not a vs thread is just comparing the scale of katon to amaterasu

yeah it's pretty obvious...

itachi had to keep use katon despite using amaterasu to stop flames from getting to him... so obviously amaterasu will fail to burn flames in time...

That's terrible logic to go by. No variant of any rasengan has ever killed anybody, but I can guarantee you that a tailed beast bomb rasenshuriken would do a lot more than "kill" someone.

Not to mention, we're talking about flames here, Itachi only used a bit of amaterasu but it consumed the entire combined fireball. Also, when Sasuke used Enton to cut the ice, I'd say that's quite a bit of range.
